You said, and I quote:

No one in the US cares about sectarian violence that occurrs in Northern Ireland.

Thats not speaking for them. Thats demonstrable.

Joe, just admit it, you know nothing about the subject and move on. Anything else at this point is simply for comedic effect. You have been called out and shown your own ignorance. Own it, and move on.

I know plenty on the subject. My family is from Ireland. My grandfather coming from there.

The difference between you and me is that I know its irrelevant to the topic at hand. You probably know that too, but you stick with what you got.

When I verbally attack Islamic extremists you take it as an attack in Islam in general. You need to wake up.

When you say things like, "the religion of peace is at it again.", do you consider that to be an attack on Islamic extremists and not Islam in general?

Not that you said that in this thread, but your reputation on this board does not come from attacking Islamic extremists.

I'm less worried by Joe than I'm by the moderate Americans Muslims who have a track record of doing little to nothing beyond talk in helping to clean out those who radicals are getting Islam a bad name.

Can anyone give me some concrete examples to prove me wrong because I hope I am on this one? Should be plenty in the last eight years alone.

Joe the fact that even the other far right VJers are avoiding you like the plague might give you some inkling that you're full of it. You have managed to offend just about everyone, from every demographic & every political perspective, with your ignorant remarks.

We should nationalize all mosques. Require them to operate under government supervision.

Can we do that to all religions? I have a zealout living next to me, boy is she nuts and she might be dangerous but how does one know when these nuts turn from being benign zealots to dangerous fanatics? What's the litmus test for that?

Sure, but let's start with a limited pilot. Islam first. See how it goes

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

Don't let RJ hear you say that. Just because your grandfather came here from Ireland doesn't mean anything. Most of my family is from there and still lives there. I myself have spent a lot of time there. I have seen the bombings, I have seen the killings and prejudice. I have also seen collection jars filled to the brim in bars in new england collecting for sinn fein. I've seen the huge queue for admitance to some speaking engagement that Gerry Adams or Martin McGuiness is giving, or the outright fundraising events they host. It's the St. Patricks Day syndrom Joe. Everyone thinks they know about the troubles because they've had a pint of guinness or is descended from someone who was there. But you haven't lived there or even at a minimum studied it, so you don't know.

I'll take that as your concession speech.

You need to wait for all the facts before you go making conclusions to the fact that she's a zealot.

If she's made that statement, then I'd take her word that she has indeed sifted through the data and events to get the facts. :P

First off yes i have studied it, and know plenty about it... I don't even have any need to discuss it here as you have because it has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand.

But lets just say I don't even know where Ireland is. Lets say, I think it is in the South Pacific.

What in the blazes of hellfire and damnation does it have to do with being tipped off that when someone shouts Allah Ackbar that they are a terrorist?

And you have yet to show me where people are intimidated for their lives when someone yells Hallelujia, or for that matter an instance where someone has shouted Hallelujia and slaughtered people in the name of Jesus OFTEN enough that it can be a tipoff that a person is a terrorist.

If she's made that statement, then I'd take her word that she has indeed sifted through the data and events to get the facts. :P

Of course you would. Every lib is credible to you.

Guess you don't know most of funds and weapons for the IRA came from Libya. Sinn Fein is a legal politcal party and has negotiatied with the the British government so that makes the Labor Party terrorist sympathizers.

More Muslims support (still a minority though) suicide bombings than Americans who support the IRA's terrorists so peddle yer blarney elsewhere.

BTW, when were you in N. Ireland?
