One thing I must say, as much as it pains me; is that the misuse of full professorship is outraging.

i understand why the concept of "tenure" was developed in both universities as well as regular grade school, but it's out of control now. If someone doesn't do their job up to par, then they should lose it...

(Of course, this case is different b/c it happened outside of the classroom... okay, i'm just venting... )

Typical response from particular cough cough 'like-minded' people here: Sad wrong yada yada yada snooze..(1 to 3 pages max)

Typical response from the same group: Racist, Stupid! Jihad the sheriff! etc etc (30 pages minimum)

Are you serious? Well of course you are. It's protocol to defend the mates you are lockstep with on absolutely every single issue, topic, view and opinion. I am sure, for example, you would not see a problem with someone scorning any and every black rapist yet saying little to nothing about white rapist.

Imagine if this scenario were reversed? A white college prof sucker punching a black female? Sharpton and Jackson would be all over the news 24/7. You'd never hear the end of it. I highly doubt this situation will have such a reaction.
