Just wanted to let everyone know that Matt has his medical exam in London on Thursday the 12th. He's pretty nervous, even though he has no reason to be. But, I get it's all a little overwhelming. Just asking for your well wishes all! We're nearly to the interview stage!

I think the experience depends on the doc you get. My hubby had his this past Monday and it was brutal. The doc was very rude but he could have just been having a bad day. My husband asked if I could come in with him. We weren't sure if I'd be allowed or not so he asked. The doc responded with "Absolutely not!" I thought he could have said something nicer like "it's best she waits outside" or "it's generally not allowed." But then he was very condescending to me husband about his medical stuff. He has a sleep disorder and takes meds for it. He told the doc about it. He knows what meds he's on but not the mg dosage so he asked the doc if he could go to the waiting room to ask me. The doc made a stupid comment stating "does your wife control your medicine for you or do you?"

He may have just been having a bad day but he was very rude and it was not a fun experience...very trying. It's good it wasn't me because I probably would have told him off and that would not put us closer to a visa...lol. The check in staff was very nice though and there were several docs there.

Good luck!

I'm a very nervous person and I was panicing a lot but it was soo easy! I had a female doctor and she wasn't rude as such but very to the point and no small talk.

Good luck and best wishes, I'm sat waiting for my interview date.
