How soon does fiance have to move...

Hi all,

My fiance lives in Liverpool and we are hoping to get his interviewed scheduled in London sometime in December. I know a couple who went through this process a couple of years ago (the hubby was from England as well) and they just informed me that my fiance only has two months to move from the UK to the US once he gets his visa?? I thought he had 6 months to a year? Not that he would wait that long anyway, but he wants to get some things paid off before he moves. I'm sorry if this has been addressed before, I just recently found this UK forum. *smacks forehead*
