Hi all -

Two quick questions. I have been scanning a bunch of the topics about the I-134, but can't seem to get a definitive answer on what exactly you need to bring with you in terms of financial support. I can get a letter verifying my employment & I have all of my paycheck stubs (direct deposit slips). I've been working at the same job for the last year and a half but before that I was working as a Peace Corps Volunteer and consequently was barely making any money. My tax return from last year only reflects about $17,000 because I was only working my current job for 7 months or so and my W2 from 2007 only shows about $2000. I can probably get a letter from my bank but my current balance wouldn't be much really (with savings & checking combined I probably have a little over $2000 - have to pay bills, you know?) so I don't know how much that would help. Do I need a co-sponsor? My parents would willingly co-sponsor my fiance, but it seems like a lot of people on here don't want to have a co-sponsor. Does it reflect poorly to have one? Do I even need one? I earn $30k/year at my job & have no dependents.

Second question: I never got NOA2, just a letter from NVC saying they received my approved I-129F petition. Even the USCIS website still says I'm in initial review. My fiance has already received packet 3 so we know things are moving along but the guides say we need to have a copy of the NOA2 in the packet. Anything I can do about this?

Thanks!
