8/31/12 - AAO appeal sustained (THANK YOU, GOD FOR YOUR MERCY)

11/28/12 - Visa in hand

Sooo, finally got the call I have been waiting for.... He has his Visa Stamp... IR1!!!!

They gave him a bit of ####### because the consulate left out an important form and they asked him "did you remove anything from the package, something is missing" of course he pointed out the seal was not broken and that he did not open nor have any knowledge of what was inside or missing"...

After about 40 minutes they gave him the stamp, the lady told him he should receive the GC within the year (holy ####### right) and that this stamp serves as his GC for the next 12 months... And to DONT lose the GC after it arrives!!!! Duh!!!

Total process was about an hour as there was a line at immigration... But the important thing!!!! HE'S IN!!! YAY :dance::dance::dance:

His next flight from Charlotte to W. Palm is at 8 and he arrives at 10... Can't wait to pick him up!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!! I can't wait to have my Italian back too! If I had know he was so close I would have run to Charlotte from Columbia to deliver some pasta al pomodoro as a Welcome to America gift!

Thank's Ya'll.... Slept soooo good last night!!! He is doing his unpacking now (I have to just let him be otherwise bickering...) once he puts it where it doesent belong, I will have to go move it!!!! LOL... But so very happy he is home!!!! Today just hanging about the house... YAY!!!
