I am getting a swine flu shot tomorrow. Every person I tell about it, says I should not do it and that the risk is too high and that it's not proven that it works bla bla bla

I am not sure what to do. I know I don't want to get sick because a) I have no one to take care of me when I am bed struck with a fever and B) because Mom has cancer/ chemo and zero immune system and Grandma has severe asthma.

Thoughts?

the nasal spray. i didn't give to the baby, afraid of side effects, or something might go wrong. for me, i don't see a problem.

Over here, there is only the shot available. There is this big discussion with pro and cons - mjority of germans doesn't want to get a shot and the media says it's super dangerous and that it's not been tested enough and that we are all lab mice.

Did you get any side effects?
