What is needed to establish domicile for London DCF? I can provide tax returns, possibly lease agreement, and have joint us bank account. If I have these 3 would it be ok? I can't provide the driver license as proof since it is Texas not Virginia which is where I'm moving to. I'd register my kids for school but none are old enough. I can also provide a the lease termination agreement that the owner sent us, we are to be out in march, they are renovating and selling the cottage afterwards.

I would provide a copy of the DL because it is a poof of "US" domicile. Your voter registration is good as well.

You might get better response if you ask the question in the UK forum.

I sent my I-130 off the other week. I'm working on my domicile documents as well. From advice I found on this board, a lease and a job offer are the best. This is my list:

lease

drivers license

veterinary license I kept current

retirement fund statement

mutual fund statement

bank statements

post office box rental I've maintained

credit card statements

emails to shipping companies for estimates

emails to the kid's future schools

emails to the current schools for records

email to previous auto insurance company about reinstating insurance on vehicle I left when I moved

emails with my previous employer about job openings about the time I will be moving

tax returns

voter registration

these all show my permanent us address

Because I don't have a job lined up, I had to get my parents to co-sponsor as well.

Good luck. March is really soon. We're going in June/July next summer.
