It's odd but me too! I'm looking forward to making myself just as busy in the US if I can. First things first... must get car. Must get license, must learn to drive well. In whatever most makes sense.

But yeah, i'm driving myself like this now as it's good to save money and it's good to feather the nest while I can... Also this makes it so that despite the fact that I'm off for two weeks, financially? I'm ahead of the game.

Hey Wyatt, you can do my Thursday night dinner for me, okay? That'd be reallly helpful. I'll go to bed at 8pm and you can have dinner and wine with the friends.

Thanks,

it's casual...

:D

God, guys...

I am so tired. So very, very, very tired. I have so much stuff to do that it's crazy. My freelance gig picked up and I have two assignments this week plus day job plus weekend job. Gah.

I also have a billion social events this week as well. It's not bad but holy #######, I am freaking tired.

I am really looking forward to the holidays and not having too many obligations to fulfill. I would like to sleep and hang out a bit.

/rant

but a good rant.

It's so funny...I kinda wish I was busier! I'm not going stir-crazy (yet...), but I sorta wish I could go to a few Xmas parties and hang out with friends during the day etc. As it stands, I've been finding reasons to leave the house every day, which breaks things up a bit (which is good)...but frankly, that interview date can't come soon enough! I'm looking forward to getting working again and just starting the next phase of my life with my wife!

It's a deal, froggie. Mind booking my ticket for me? I think Vancouver to Toronto is only about $700 right now. Kthx.

I'm really friggin tired of everything going friggin wrong this month.

Honestly, I can't think of too many more things that could go wrong.

@#$*

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

Wha'hoppen, Varba????

This month?

Fighting with Nissan Canada to get documention to let us import Peachey's car.

Fighting health insurance to get Peachey added after we're married.

Fighting car insurance to get Peachey added (so far our rate not only sky rockets for no apparent reason, but they overcharged me TWICE.) And yes, I've checked rates with 12 different companies.

Caterer canceled, asked us what we gave as a deposit so he _might_ get it back to us.

Peachey's childhood doggie friend was diagnosed with final stage lymphoma, and put to sleep.

JoP canceled our scheduled appointment for a ceremony, and we can't reschedule within the timeframe Peachey's Mom will be in town. This also screws up our health insurance plans potentially causing us to pick up temp insurance for over a month?

Peachey's mom might not even be able to help us move and come down for the ceremony anyhow cause Peachey's step father is very ill (been to the ER once or twice).

I decided to use a service provided by my bank, and they forgot to mention there was a retardedly high fee.

Peachey's friend's mother got diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent surgery.

I got death plague .

Peachey's shower broke, and wasn't fixed right away.

My car broke right before I was going to drive up to spend the holiday's with Peachey and help her move. Just got an estimate over lunch putting it at ~400$.

I know.. it's a happy time... we're getting married and don't have to wait for interviews or visas and stuff.

But for #######'s sake, this is getting stupid!

I iz really sick  I got home yesterday and started getting a sore throat while doing housework. When it was time for bed, I was so exhausted for no reason and couldn't breathe through my nose, which basically kept me up all night.

I "wake" up this morning, and felt like I've been hit by a truck. I'm pretty sure I caught the flu from one of my co-workers who is just getting over hers, or got it from a side effect from the H1N1 immunization that they stuck us all with on Friday.

Either way, I'm not a happy camper today :crying:

I'm sick too. It started yesterday and got worse. My son stayed home yesterday because he was sick, so I figure I must have got it from him. Ahh part of the joys of motherhood, you catch every single cold/flu bug out there thanks to all the germs your kids bring home. :(

Oh blah.

Not such a bad day so far compared to last week, but I just noticed on that form the doctors fill out for the K-1 medical that he didn't check of my Measles shots as being done, but they were. He just didn't look at my yellow card properly.

He did check off that it wasn't age appropriate anymore, but I did in fact finish the series of 2 shots.

Silly doctor.
