I had alot of problems with Capitalone and my parents did also. With me I called to complain about charges on my account that I did not authorise and was told to call the company that charged me to get it straitened out. Which I already did. But I still wanted Capitalone to make sure no other payments would go through. They kept allowing payments to go through. I called more then once and they never ever stopped the payments. these where 70$ charges at a time. Anyways I get another bill and somehow I'm at my limit so I call and yell at them ( I had a small limit) and tell them that enough is enough that if they don't do something I won't pay this dang card since I didnt make those charges and also asked them more then once to stop the charges from that company. I'm told again to call the company to get the charges removed. All this time I already delt with the company and charges were credit to my account but CapitalOne would nail me with huge service charges. The next bill comes in and somehow i'm now 800$ over my limit. Now I call them freaking out and told them there was no way I would pay for something I didn't create. Needless to say I never did pay them spoke to a lawyer and she was not surprise. She tells me that they are famous for allowing charges up tp 1000$ on top of your limit.

With my parents they had their card paid off for years even closed the account. They went to buy a new car and the credit report showed they never payed the last bill of 5$ yup they put that on their credit report it was just enough to do some damage on the interest rate for the loan. But my mother never throws out bills for stuff like that and it didn't take long for the bank to get things fixed for them.

Once you get that account closed make sure you keep the payment for the final bills and any record that shows your balance is zero and closed.

sorry for the typos just realized i'm not on my comp so no spell check

My vent:

This week.

Seriously week, what did I do to piss in your cheerios?

Why do you feel the need to take it out on Peachey and I so brutally?

In closing, week.. you die at 11.59pm on Saturday, at which point we win, and you lose. Rot in he double hockey sticks.

The end.

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

Actually, I only saw the movie for the first time last week, though I DID know the basic premise of it.

Very cute film.

Yeah, I'm no winter fan either.

My car wouldn't start this morning, which was especially concerning since it's only two years old and has less than 10,000 kms on it. I was trying to figure out why, thinking it was maybe the cold weather or something...when I realized that I was quite low on gas and was parked on a somewhat steep driveway. Sure enough, a trip in another car to the gas station with a jerry can proved me right. WHEW!

Oh brilliant!!!! H ahahahahahahahahaha!

You're on the west coast, right? Cannot possibly get cold enough for no car starting -- maybe if you were up in the Caribou, like Prince George or Hundred Mile or something?

This cold is the worst here.

glad your car's okay -- I would have been worried too, to be honest.

Argh, I want to get out of my in laws' house right now!

My fiance and his mom are arguing like crazy over the wedding, because she didn't get to do any of the planning. I'm sorry, but that's my mom's job... not hers.

I like my fiance's mom, but she's beating him up verbally so much right now I want nothing to do with her.

I wish my parents just let me elope so I could have applied for an EAD :crying:

What does the groom's Mother get to do?

Well, all the planning's already done, so there's nothing left for her to do.

She didn't even ask to be included, she just assumed my fiance knew.

My mother feels kind of threatened that her job of planning my wedding as the bride's mother might get taken away because my fiance's mom wants to be included.

She already did her daughter's wedding.

She's also angry that she didnt get invitations to hand out the way she wanted. I'm pretty sure it doesn't work that way... and cause of her anger she invited 3 people not on the original list.
