I hate being sick.

The end.

Montreal Interviewer: "What do you have in common with each other?"

Peachey: "We're REALLY weird."

Montreal Interviewer (incredulously to me): "Do you agree with that?"

<I think back to several days before the interview. Driving through the country, passing a field with cows...>

Peachey: "MOOOO! MOOOOO! Does this make me weird?"

Me: "No, well yes. Here, let me roll down the windows so they can hear you better!"

Peachey: "MOOOOO!!!!"

<back to interview>

Me: "Yes, yes I do."

My vent:

I fvcking hate Shaw. We've had four problems this year with our internet being #######. For the past week or so we've had poor latency and poor download (350KB!!!). I noticed there was a Shaw tech outside this morning so I camped the window to see when he would go out to his truck. I stalked him down and asked him if there were any problems reported in our building - well, no, there weren't. Except the two calls for bad picture through digital boxes - funny that. We had the same problem during the summer and that was due to an amp dying. I'm on hold right now with Shaw because this tech can't help us without a service call. :bonk:

Edit: tech just knocked on the door. Another guy is coming to fix the TV problems in the building today. I still have to call regarding the internet. Blah.

;)

There are heaploads of them in MD.

Just wondering what they were doing there and what T.M. was trying to say.

:D

You've never heard of a turkey vulture? We got lots of 'em in Florida!

Lgg, I'm sorry... I coughed and some "presents" landed on you.

I wiped you down good with hand sanitizer, but you might get a cold.

I'm sorry.

My rant tonight is about myself.

In many ways, I think I can be very strong-willed and stubborn, at least enough to keep myself out of trouble when it comes to people trying to take advantage of me.

The above does not apply to people I know well, however... and that, of course, always comes to bite me in the butt. And, of course, to add insult to the mental disparage I have on daily overdrive, I get the hefty hand of guilt from an SO who "doesn't blame me" but is thoroughly disgusted at the situation I've gotten myself into.

Shucks, thanks hun.

And yet still, I'm angry with me.

I am absolutely livid about CapitolOne. About 3 months ago, I got a new card and decided that I would drop CapitolOne because it had an annual fee of $60. So I called up and went to the department to close it and the guy lowers my APR and says that it is standard practice to waive the fee and that I just needed to call in November when the fee would normally be assesed to get it waived. So I called in 4 weeks ago in the middle of November to do that, and to dispute a charge (random charge that a merchant converted a one time charge to a continuing fee). I was told that there was no fee and that it wouldn't show up. Now regarding the disputed charge, I was told to work it out first with the merchant and that there would be no late fees. Well, I check today to pay off the charges that I know that I have made in the past couple of days and there today, the late and annual fees that were supposed to be waived popped up. I call to find out ####### happened and all they can say is "I'm sorry you were misinformed about our practices and procedures, but we haven't been waiving those fees all year". #######. If I had been told this information during either of my previous calls, I would have made the decision to close the card before incurring those fees. I got to a senior manager and still, all she could do was apologize. God I am pissed at CapitolOne.

Dear ESPN,

Please be more like TSN and cover more hockey. Furthermore, please stop showing the ####### that is Tiger Woods and constantly updating the country on the status of all the skanks who abused their integrity. I want to see a puck going in the net on a sports channel, not some story about how some woman made $5 million dollars for keeping text messages to herself, thanks Lol.

God I can't wait until Saturday night when I can just watch CBC and veg out watching 6 hours of hockey haha

My wife has been back since June 5, 2007. Now we're just livin' man, L I V I N :)

Why would you own a credit card that has an annual fee? There are plenty of cc out there that dont asses an annual fee.

For the longest time, I did because it had an incredibly low APR. I realized that it simply wasn't worth it and was in the process of cancelling it. I was lied to and told that the fee would be waived...

Bowflex,

Unfortunately, Tiger Woods news garners much higher ratings than hockey atm, so we are all stuck. :/
