Aw, Sprailenes.. you is HILARIOUS.

My vent of the day???

EFFING Easter Seaboard Weather.

Hate you. Hate you so much. Thanks for the delays that you have caused in the flight schedules. Because it's not like I have to wait for enough damn stuff already.

I think the weather is in league with the Montreal Consulate, and both are conspiring to make your life miserable. Maybe you were Jack The Ripper in a former life...

Total mini-petty-vent here, but I'm annoyed that someone decided to correct me that there is no U.S. Embassy in Montreal, when I was giving advice to someone in the CR-1 forum. TOTAL matter of semantics. A consulate is a subset of an embassy...and why someone would take me to task over something so clearly irrelevant to my advice is beyond me. Grr.

That guy is a douche. I've seen him berate people for similar items in a post.

More like carry on with my bored self! Most of my packing is done, and all I really have for entertainment is my TV and my computer right now. And there's nothing interesting on TV. Grr.

There's always stuff I could be doing...but I'll leave the final thrust of packing to Saturday, the day before I actually move.

I was thinking about getting sushi for lunch, but I shouldn't really spend the money. My options are Kraft Dinner (which I've been having a LOT lately...) and soup. I think I might have soup. Hmm...

Yeah, I made a really mild comment in there...but then the thread started to get offensive. I mean, I'm not easily offended -- really I'm not! -- but insinuating that Canadians back down and surrender in wars just goes too far. So I stopped reading it.

On a related note, the event planners at The Mansion in Buffalo where I got married were thinking it would be a great idea if they had "theme cookies" as part of the dessert tray...like maple leafs or hockey sticks or something. I forbade it outright! Apparently they still managed to stick something quaintly Canadian on there, but I only found out after the fact, since I didn't have much time to examine the tables that night!

If nothing else, the Internet has proven that stupidity is a world-wide epidemic. :P

On wed I got another offer on my house, and since I am selling it privately we were supposed to meet up tonight to sign the paperwork. So I cancelled some of the viewings that I had scheduled as to not waste peoples time. Now the person who gave the offer, decided she didn't want to pay that much and has now e-mailed me offering less...even though we had agreed on a price 2 days ago. #######!!!! I am so frustrated with this. So now I am back to calling everyone back, and rescheduling viewings while I am trying to get packed up. I have my moving trailer coming next week and I plan to head down to the US to be with my fiance for the holidays.....so it is going to be a stressful weekend :crying:

Well, I should have expected this. Really.

So Im getting married next Wed and my fiance and I are allowed to bring 12 guests to the courthouse. We decided to "split" the guest for each side, so he brings 6, I bring 6.

Of course 11 of our family members have confirmed their presence... except you know who...

Seriously. Where is this primadonna attitude coming from? It's not like she was not told two months ago that Nov 25th is the date.

Now my photographer informed me that she can come to the civil ceremony to take pictures of us (totally out of her personal time, not included in the wedding package we signed for). I can't even tell her if she can or cannot come because SHE has not replied yet. And we're waiting for her and her alone.

If I don't hear from her tonight, I will tell my fiance to assume she's not coming and invite out photographer. If she shows up next week... well sucks to be her.

Finally married... and still married... ;)
