It's very frustrating. Yea they didn't seem to care at all... they were like "Can you come back on Monday?" my husband said my face was priceless.. I was just dumbfounded.

We're going to have to wait until tomorrow to call around. Such a pain. So now I'm sitting here with an empty inhaler, I mean there's maybe 2 or 3 puffs left in it, trying not to stress, laugh or do anything. If I start wheezing, it doesn't get better, it gets worse - my inhaler is like my life line. If this were Canada, I'd just walk into the emergency and ask for one, may have to wait but I know I'd walk out with one of those small ones. Can't do that here.

I shouldn't have waited... I usually don't. Just so much stuff going on lately, it slipped my mind.

My vent? I can't stop eating ice cream. I've probably gained weight since I've been down here already. I'm just compelled to go to the ice cream aisle whenever I'm in a grocery store...

Dude, I prolly ate more ice cream the first month I was here than my last year in Toronto. But Ive decided that it was time for me to work on the hotness as the WIL gets married in two months, and I need to look prettier than here :D Yes, I am a selfish, conniving bi*tch. So I am now following my husband's shopping motto: "I do my dieting in the food store", and only buy food that is waist-line friendly. So far it's worked -- not sure if it's because of this new healthy diet, or just that I dont like the healthy diet I've stopped eating...

Sprailenes, I hope that you can get some inhaler or so before Monday... and if not, that you will be fine. Can they not send your prescription at another CVS to get it refilled? That is really crummy and very irresponsible on their part.

My vent: my right foot is hurting so bad -- probably because of running on pavement, which I know I should stop doing until I get new orthotics. My foot feels swollen and its tough to walk, even after icing. I did this to myself, knowing full well the impact of running without proper support. I planned to do a long run tomorrow, but I might have to postpone it for another day.

Finally married... and still married... ;)

Yea we're going to call tomorrow, they handed a paper back to me and said: "Here's a prescription, call around to other stores tomorrow"

Whatever happened to customer service?

My mom's had that kind of luck with prescriptions before.

She went to a place and handed it in, waited 30 minutes only to find that they only had 3 of the pills for the prescription.

Man was she pissed that night. They didn't even have the decency to call her back to tell her they were out.

The place was Shoppers Drug Mart. Never been a fan of them really... the drug counter customer service at our location is terrible.

I love Shoppers for their products, but I always preferred Guardian for my prescriptions.

Yessssss.

I do agree about the products.

I love some of their stuff.

Oh yeah. That's huge...and very smart. When I lost sixty pounds or so back between 2007 and 2008, that was a major part of the reason why -- I wouldn't bring ANY bad food into my home. It was easy to do because I lived alone, and was really in the mindset of losing weight. Honestly, I can be very disciplined once I get into that headspace...it just requires that I get into a routine; i.e.: get up at a certain time, work out, shower, go to work etc. While I'm not working and my wife is working crazy hours etc., I just can't get into that headspace. It's probably going to have to start at the grocery store though...but I have to know I'm in the right frame of mind to make a commitment and stick to it.

Everyone's got one, Wyatt... I would just chill a bit if I were you -- you kinda just got there, you know? It'll be a crapton better when there's a routine to be had or you can come and join me for some nice runs and 2 hour power walks?

I need to do some stretching stuff though, like yoga, my old lady muscles are pretty achy these days.

I'll say it again. i LOVE ice cream. Love it. Ben and Jerry's and all their yummy flavours. Rock it.

Oh I buy stuff, I buy it because it looks cool. Like I have three eyelash curlers... they remind of bionic finger puppets....

I never curl my eyelashes, in fact the notion of curling ones eyelashes is hilarious to me.

I would leave your cat food out, it sounds like your cat may be a grazer rather than a scheduled eater. She's gorging because she's too hungry. Cats are very picky about food and will throw up any time they eat too much/too fast.

My 7 mos old 5 pound TFT is an escape artist.... This is the second time I have come home and had him greet me @ the door! I don't get it! I know he has long legs & can jump quite high but the baby gate is as high as my hip! How does he get OVER the gate!? His bed is placed far enough back that he couldn't use it as a "spring board". VERY proud of him for holding his bowels & bladder..for almost 11 hours... Until he got excited to see me and tinkled! *smacks head*
