Got a new phone this weekend. Between all the overage and international calls, we were getting hit for about $150 per month on our cell phone bill each month, and that was just for basic phones with basic service. We never went over our minute alotment or texts each month, just got reamed by calls to Canada, and nickel and dimed to death with minute service fees. So we started looking elsewhere and found out we could get top of the line phones and service for about what we were already paying. First thing, i now understand completely why they call them 'crackberry's' The sad thing though is that I still don't get any service in my office. It's like the black hole of mobile service here. I can go 2 or 3 levels underground, in the basement and get a great signal, but not in my office. To make things even better, they have shut off the wi-fi here at work. So i managed to get myself addicted to my blackberry and now facebook, and I can't even check them now. You gotta love poetic justice.

Lol My old room at my parents' house became known as The Vault because for some reason I couldn't get phone service in there, no idea what that was all about.

Also after getting my new phone I made sure not to get the Internet option in my plan just because I knew I'd get addicted to it and probably would stop doing anything but playing on it all day Lol

My wife has been back since June 5, 2007. Now we're just livin' man, L I V I N :)

What annoys me is people who only wander in here, 90 percent of the time, to make smarmy little comments and because they can't manage to be polite and kind NICE people decide they will no longer come back here.

passive aggressive much? :P

I'm Flipping starving! I signed up for some life insurance last week and today they are coming to take my blood and poke me a little to make sure I'm healthy. Apparently, this requires an 8 hour fast. I can't even watch TV anymore, all the commercials are for food! I've been cleaning the house in a effort to remain distracted

ya i read that post too trailmix... even i can be accused of sounding rude once in a while. unfortunately it's part of the internet that will always be there. no tone of voice etc. alot of my posts are straight to the point etc. but that comes off as rude, or whatnot.. mainly i try to be indifferent. shrug. However, one thing i do not do is go into another regional forum and say things i'm not sure of etc. i know how my process in canada works..not any other country. so i stay out of those forums unless it's a simple question, and i see there has been no answer.

passive aggressive, apparently i am according to my fiance. shrug lol not a bad thing all the time. however i'm also quick tempered..due to my Scottish father. good thing i don't drink eh? :P

Oh Marilyn, that sucks. I don't know the us system yet, but is it really that much more expensive to see an out of network doctor? dang..i'm gonna miss this whole go see whoever i want deal i'm used to :(

well to see an in-network specialist I pay a 30 dollar copay and that is it... and if I need surgery the insurance covers 90 percent..

now if I go to an out of network specialist, I am not sure how much I would have to pay but I am sure it would be more then 30 bucks and then if I need surgery they only cover 70 percent...

I called my doctor about 30 minutes ago and they said they would call me back with the name of another surgeon.. I am still waiting... grrrr

Depending on your coverage and insurer, if you see an out of network doctor, your insurance will pay either a lesser portion of the bill, or none at all, leaving you to pay the full cost.
