you got a +1 for this post.

reading through off topic, you'll see a bunch of minuses next to some posters and their post isn't offensive at all - it's like this is high school again.

LOL! I know! Thats exactly what I said on the specific thread about the layout changes. Its a good thing Im over high school though ;)

Anger, what a lovely thing to wake up to.

Along with lack of sleep due to my hives being really bad last night, I woke up to my husband on the phone with the employment people here.

He has a phone interview today for some unknown reason when he had already been approved. They had also put him into the re-employment seminars.

He has one of those seminars today from 10am to 12:30pm. His phone interview is 10am to 12pm.

Turns out those two sections have nothing to do with eachother and we have to reschedule it. So we have to wait for ANOTHER interview letter and most potentially ANOTHER two weeks. They will probably not give us the money we should have been getting these last 3 weeks either.

It's just infuriating! I'd be on the phone harassing someone or trying to talk to a senetor or something, he just goes with the flow.

ARGH! :ranting:

Stupid stupid stupid flu.

This is the first year I've ever gotten a flu shot, and I've been sick more times than I think I ever have been in my life. Granted, I work with between 100-200 students a week, but jeez!

This is at least the third time I've had the flu this winter. I've had two or three nasty colds as well - one of which started before my wedding (in January) and still hasn't really gone away.

Dear immune system,

Quit being terrible at what you're supposed to be doing. I can't miss any more work

Just because a woman doesn't take her husband's last name doesn't mean she's not a "Mrs"

Why don't people get that. The GM at our work the other day corrected a document I created for two new members, the wife didn't take the husbands last name but they were still married. I explained to him that she's still married and therefore a "Mrs" and he didn't understand that because he said she didn't take his last name. But they're STILL married. Everyone even googled it and everything, it's still a title that is associated with being married... not all women take their husbands last name. I didn't.

Donne moi une poptart!
