Grrr. I'm annoyed to see some people in the CR-1 forum essentially taking their interview date for granted, trying to get it rescheduled because it interfered with their holiday plans.

I'm sorry, but no matter WHAT my plans are at this juncture, I will gladly, happily, willingly change ANY of them to accommodate an interview date! I can't imagine what could be more important than that at this stage in the immigration game.

Have you ever thrown any food away? Stuff left on your plate or in the fridge too long? There are people starving. Ok, dramatic example, but it is what came to mind - their priorities are different than yours.

Which does not discount your feelings! I guess i'm just saying they don't mean to be insensitive - i'm sure you will get scheduled soon, hang in there Wyatt!

My vent is not being able to properly devote my attention to VJ whilst at work :P Yeah I said it. Not to bring up that 'not working while working' topic again, but I'm just saying :P By the time I can get around to responding to some stuff, it's old news. lol

Yup, that IS quite a dramatic example!

I'm sure they don't mean to be insensitive either, but wanting to reschedule the interview because of holidays? I suppose Christmas means something different to Christian folks, but I still can't grok the mentality of rescheduling an interview for mere convenience purposes...

I'm definitely fine with hanging in there, and I'm honestly not even thinking about myself in this instance -- it's just the concept in general that irks me I guess.
