Judging by the picture, it was Coors Light.

That's not beer!!! :P

Sacrilege! Should have at least been Molson.

I haven't seen much of the media coverage but from what I read it seems it was the IOC who had a pole up their ####. Was their celebrating a bit over the top? Sure. Was it hurting anyone? Nope. Let 'em party!

BC drinking age is 19. The few pics I saw, it was Molsons! But i do believe Molsons brews Coors in Canada, so I'm, sure they had that as well

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

What about skiier Lindsey Vonn (or was it Julia whatsherface? I dunno...) who popped the cork on a wine bottle at the end of her run. They could have equally targeted that if there's a problem drinking, but they didn't.

Beer and cigar? If it was the men's team, it would've been a cute side column, because it's the women it's like all outrageous and s***

Whatever. let them have their cake. or torpedos. :P

The question is...were they CUBAN cigars? If so, the U.S. media might take issue with that! :P

Come to think of it, that's another thing I'll miss in the U.S....my Fonseca Delicias...:(

The way I read it, it was more the underage drinking than the presence of alcohol at all. Vonn and Julia Mancuso are both 25 and well over legal drinking age.

Yeah, we're trying to smoke the few Cohibas left that a friend brought back for us.

Funny, because the worst culprits for underage drinking in Canadian provinces are the US college students who cross the border to get pickled with fewer questions asked!

So true! My wife was born and raised in Buffalo, and as soon as she was nineteen, her and her friends would cross into Canada to hit the bars!

Most of my family.

Most of them have ever owned a home, but they seem to have a whole lot of opinions on the matter. They always have something to say, and it's always negative. My uncle is the worst, and I just want to ask him: "What do you know about home ownership? You rent, and my mother practically pays your rent every month anyways, so what do you know about finances or anything of that matter?"

But that would be below the belt... but sometimes I get the urge to go there because some of them are so negative about everything I do. This is why I didn't tell any of them right away and when I did I kind of knew what was coming.

But its okay for my cousin to be on drugs and all messed up, and no one ever b1tches him out about his life choices.... just me.

argh..so like..i spent most of february in Chicago to start gettin details of the wedding planned out..but also to escape my place due to my neighbours.

they were suposed to have been kicked out by today, due to many noise complaints, me calling the cops, and them giving me verbal abuse. so i get home from chicago, to find out they haven't moved yet. they are still upstairs..stomping around making noise.

it's 6pm. tomorrow is the first..and ####### is goign on..i cna't get ahold of my landlord..david had to drive back to chicago for work, and i'm feeling less than happy and slightly worried. last time i called the cops they never showed up..great job windsor /sigh. but it's the yelling that makes me nervous..i dont wanna here them screaming "b1tch" at me again.

I emailed the Dauphin Hotel about extending check-out by a couple of hours after my interview on Friday. They said they could...but that they'd charge $70 to extend it to mid-afternoon. Not impressed. <_<
