another thing is that he has 3 beautiful daughters, our nieces... we we hardly see them... he always has some excuse why he can't come for Thanksgiving or Christmas.. but then awhile back he emailed my husband some pics taken at a Birthday party at Steven Segal's house with him and his family and Steven Segal... that ticked me off because he made time for Steven Segal but not his own family.... and he only contacts his family when he needs some money etc... GGRRRR

sorry for the long post.. this has just been really bugging me lately....

Sure seems to me the guy needs to watch Mr. Segal on A&E's Lawman like the rest of us and pay you guys your monies asap haha

Nothing annoys my wife more than moochers, I bet you guys would bond fairly quickly venting about this back and forth haha :)

As funny as this is going to sound my FiL swears it works. He was getting really bad leg cramps at night and found out somewhere that a bar of soap helps. Can't remember if there is a specific kind it has to be, but he says he hasn't be woken up by leg cramps since.

I dunno if it will work with charlie horses.

I remember reading that on snopes at some point. I'm gonna try to get my potassium levels back up and make sure I'm hydrated this weekend too....hopefully that will help :)

The media here in the States is actually ripping on the Women's team from yesterday for celebrating with beer and cigars on the ice. I always wanted the hockey coverage in the States to increase but these Olympics are showing me I'm glad it's a niche sport here, this is unbelieveable lol. You've got football players killing people while driving under the influence, funding dog fighting rings, and basketball players cheating on their wives and brining guns into the lockerroom for Jeebus Sake lol.

Winning a gold medal by beating your BIGGEST rival is a huge deal, let them do body shots on top of the crossbar for all I care haha

Let them party!! At least they are not trashing hotel rooms!!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

ARGH! What BS. Damn it, I HATE it when people feel the need to rain on the celebration of others. What harm are they doing? Seriously. It was after the crowd had left...it must have been such an overwhelming moment for the women. I mean, they just won a freaking GOLD MEDAL. Last I checked, beer is legal...tobacco is legal... B.F.D. <_<

Are you sure?? Are you sure it's legal and that governments make billions of dollars in tax revenue on them!?

I don't even know what team you are talking about, but can the media get any stupider? No doubt they can...and will.

Cheers!! to whatever team it is

I think they were more worried about Poulin drinking because she's only 18 legally underage.

Otherwise, I don't think they would have had a problem with it.

There was also some recent controversy with an American partying in Robson Square, letting a girl do things in public with his medal...

Seriously though...let them celebrate. The Olympics is really just a huge party after the "serious" events of the day are over. The media is so hypocritically PC sometimes...

If he makes good money, blows it on useless things, and STILL borrows money without paying it back.... He's a moocher.

Judging by the picture, it was Coors Light.
