So far NBC has done a horrible job covering the Olympics. I've seen the same replays of figure skating showing at all times of the day as well as ski-jumping. No coverage or previews of other events or even quality stories about the athletes. It's really rough right now, blowing such a great chance of showing the Olympics during the most watched hours of the day while the Olympics are so close, big bummer.

I agree too Bowflex.

I find it so incredibly annoying that my Canadian family in the East gets to see all the events before I do. I'm in the mountain time zone- one hour ahead of Vancouver, and they are in the Eastern time zone- three hours ahead. It doesn't seem to make any sense!!

I'm in PST and I can look at the medal winnings before I even see anything about it on tv!

It's just so.. so terrible.

yeah, we went to add our new car today and they charged us 140 bucks to add the car.. they said something along the lines that it was to cover the difference or something

at least our monthly payment only went up by a dollar or so, from 93 to 94 dollars but she scared us at first because she was looking at it wrong and she originally said it was going to be another 60 bucks a month on top of the 93 dollars but I said that didn't make sense so she called the insurance people and they straightened her out :P

I was checking Geico this morning and for around 100 bucks a month we can get full coverage on both cars with only a 500 dollar deductible.. right now we have a 1000 dollar deductible...

Yeah I would be switching then too. Charging you to remove the old broken one and then charging you more than the monthly rate to add the new one? rip off!

That's so stupid! You should be able to see everything in real time. I don't understand networks at all.

No wonder NBC has such piss-poor ratings. They can't even manage the biggest international sporting event. <_<

My husband has a theory....He thinks the Olympics and Canada have an agreement that Canada can brodcast "in real-time" but imposses a 2-3 hour lag time for the States to rebroadcast???? It sounds feesable......??

i think their reasoning is that they want to show it in primtime.. but they could always show replays and or highlights in primetime.. I think most people would much rather see the events live..

NBC talks too much too.

They talk more about other things than they show coverage!

At least they show the gold medal stuff no matter what country so I got to see Canada win their first gold.

Why won't insurance companies send me a letter of experience?

From my old Canadian company - I have requested it 3 or 4 times - nada.

From Allstate in the U.S., I am on hold with them right now, this is my 3rd request.

I remember calling around for homeowners insurance when that time came and thank God I already have a pretty good company that returns my calls quickly. I left messages or spoke with reps with at least 15 companies and had MAYBE 2 return with numbers in an entire month. I was happy to scratch them off the list of people I have to give money to Lol.
