I keep getting random people add me to msn.

I hate it when that happens, especially when I have no clue how they got my email... I don't really make it public.

It's a new marketing tool. Mostly, they are chinese marketers who try to get you to go to some website where they are selling stuff that will either never be shipped, or is vastly different from what is advertised. I was getting this for a while and I would always decline because I had no idea who they were, but one time, I did add someone. The name was very similar to a friend of mine from university, so I thought that maybe she got married and changed her name. So I added them and then a day later, I get a message where she was very chatty but evasive about details. So finally, I just asked, are you Lucy ___________? She said no, so I bluntly asked Who are you? She went on and on about this website etc and how great their products were and cheap. I told her straight out that I was not going to buy anything from a chinese website, and she continued to talk to me, and told me about how this was her job etc, and she thanked me for not being rude.

Good to know! I have also been getting unknown people wanting to be added to my msn contact list. Now I'm glad I blocked them.

Most likely, they got your msn address' from some forum, or social networking site. There are bots that can search to pick out people's email/msn/icq/aim/yahoo address' and log them. They also could have gotten it from a hacked email/messenger of someone on your friends list. I had a friend who was on my msn list got his email acct which was tied to his MSN messenger hacked. I suspect this is why I am getting so many friend requests on MSN, and why he keeps sending me emails linked to some chinese consumer product site. He's never on MSN, and never returns any messages.

Is reaallly frickin annoyed at my supposed new employer! I am supposed to start next tuesday! I called the 1st employer back to decline their final job offer that I would have signed when I started March 1st! I declined because of less $$ & long commute after receiving this new offer.

I have been waiting on the HR person to cal me back since yesterday about what salary they are going to

offer me....DOE....ugh! I still have to do drug testing before tuesday!

HR person that she would get back to me today( after calling back @4pm yesterday).......She said "shortly"..@ 8:30 am yesterday.....is your definition of shortly 8 hours?

They are wasting precious time! Mine and theirs!!!

Telemarketers have become a lot more pushy.

One just called from ADT security asked for my husband, I said he wasn't here. They asked if there was another decision maker in the house, and I asked what it was about. They said ADT security, I said I wasn't interested, thanked them and hung up. Then she calls back.

Really?

She asks for my husband again. I said: "He wasn't here 5 seconds ago and he still isn't here, we're not interested" and she says: "I don't want to speak to you, I want to speak to Mike."

So I said: "B1tch I don't want to speak to you either, I want to talk to your supervisor"

She hung up.

I had a telemarketer call me yesterday..... I hate companies that when you buy somethig from them they give your info to someone else...

He calls and says oh yes your shipment should arrive next week... Them starts rambling so fast I could barely understand him.... Sounded more like an auctioneer! LoL!

All I got out of it was that they wanted to charge my CC that I used to buy my item for a 14 day trial

of a care express presciption card! Of which I said NO THANK YOU!!!! I don't need that! I already have my OWN!!!

My grandmother, who is currently 85, once got telemarketed for the main provincial newspaper. After they pushed for a little while she said, "Well do they print it in Braille?" They were speechless.

(She's not blind, by the way, but that was the PERFECT response!)
