was something wrong with it?? I loved it!!!

I wasn't impressed. But I won't get into it because of spoilers!

My wife called me shortly after the show ended in my time zone (so after 2:00 AM in hers) to basically say, "What the hell?" But as she rightly pointed out, we've invested time in five seasons of the show...we're obviously going to see it through to the finish, even though neither of us were impressed by tonight's episode!

well, I was impressed but maybe I am easily impressed :P

I like the fact that they are still keeping us on our toes and not just divulging all the secrets all at once...

We watch the weather on TV., Cardinals games, Blue's games, Football. Gene watches car racing. We watch Kitchen Nightmares, and Jeopardy. That's it. I have no idea what Lost is about, but it sounds like a soap opera.

I am somewhere in the middle. I was surprised by some parts, confused by others but I'm in for the duration as well so let's see how it all plays out.

Once everyone is up and has watched it we can get into the details. :secret:

I seriously think you guys need to dedicate a thread. <_<

Too little or to much of a certain electrolyte is NOT good!

This is so true! I remember my friend's Dad started acting really strange one day. They took him to the hospital and it turned out his potassium (I think) was way too low. Up until that point I had no idea how important the balance of vitamins and minerals were.

2 years ago I had a massive ear infection and after 2 rounds of treatment, I was sent to an ENT doctor for a check up... They did a hearing test and at that point I had lost some of my hearing in that ear and was suffering from tinnitus. The doc gave me a supplement that helped stop the ringing in my ear and it worked and eventually 90% of my hearing loss came back. Now the tinnitus has come back and its annoying the ####### outta me. Not too long ago I threw out the remaining supplements I was given because they were old and now I wish I kept them or at least wrote down the name of them so I could by them again... this ringing is driving me nuts!!!!!

OMG. I so feel for you, Redmen. I had tinnitus for about a year and I thought I would lose my mind. :crying: Periodically, I would just get so frustrated that I would go AAAAAAAAARGHHH!!! Drinking helped. (j/k  )

I watched Kitchen Nightmares (new season for anyone that cares). It was good and strange. It was a family in NJ that had a restaurant called Flamangos (no wyatt, not Flamingos).

It has all this very corny 'tropical' decor, but the people were the clinchers. The Mother was such a stick in the mud whiner.

Lol I watched some of that one yesterday. I never understand that someone who's so against change would call the show to have Gordon show up when you know he's going to change EVERYTHING. Stupid people haha.

I've had tinnitus since I was 14, and it's not going to go away. :(

Yeah well honestly, they must be a bit dim!

The wife was so cranky about the changes and the restaurant (the original) was so awful - that whole thing where he carved the steak tableside was just grossssssss.

Lol maybe we're not refined enough to enjoy the subtle cutting of a $30 steak on a roof tile tableside hahaha.

I've got permanent tinnitus...a bit more in my right ear than my left. Usually it's just a high pitched whine (fairly low in volume, fortunately), but sometimes it's more like Morse code: bip bip...beep bip...bip bip bip...beeeep...bip...

It comes from playing in a rock/metal band for a few years without earplugs. :bonk: In our practises, I used to stand no more than five feet away from the drummer...his hi-hat was directly in line with my right ear, which explains a lot.

Funnily enough, I've learned to hear "around" the tinnitus. I score quite highly on hearing tests, but I think it's because I can extrapolate the base tone from its harmonics. Kinda hard to explain.

It's funny how you learn to hear around it. Where I used to live was close to a highway and the sound at night would virtually cancel out the sound. That was the only good thing about that house

I had an idea they were important but I didn't care enough to do anything about it (except to eat healthy)...until I'm pregnant. Now I'm taking prenatals, iron, calcium, and fish oils...all spaced out throughout the day. Why do they make them pills so huge? I almost gag on them.
