It's alright Sprailenes, we can commiserate together. I'm still here even though I've finished my journey - but he said the great ones had left, so I guess I'm not one of the great ones either. :crying::( (Maybe he will want to rephrase that to 'Why do some great posters leave when they're finished instead of 'so many'?" Ya think?) :D

my parents are driving me nuts.. I told them that we are thinking of going for a 2 week visit in July and I wanted to know when my dad was taking time off because he had mentioned to me awhile back that we was going to take a few weeks off..

I told them I needed to know soon so my hubby could bring in his vacation forms to get approved.... well , my dad emails back and tells me that they are waiting on the invites to my cousin's wedding in Manitoba that is supposed to be sometime in July (which I knew about my mom tells me every time we talk that they are going :P this is the reason she said they probably couldn't come for Christmas this year  )

so my guess is they are waiting on that and then he is going to decide what weeks to take off... I emailed my dad back and asked him how long they were going for and that we would like to spend some time with him...

it just bugs me because in the 5 years I have lived here they have only been here twice and we have been there twice but they have been back to Manitoba a good 4 or 5 times... :(

Kathryn = Amazing. She is so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. And heck, she has Yuna for a display picture. Yuna = Instant win. :D

Hehehe, well thank you, Bern! And thank you for telling me about Yuna - I never knew her story before and that is way cool! I just found the image very appealing so chose her for my avatar. Who knew!?

Ok so after you have gone and thought about what you have said!

Why does it bother you - because they were interesting and/or informative or because they took off without helping answer peoples questions?

Oh...totally because they were interesting and informative and fun to banter with. No one has ANY obligation to stick around an internet forum, and I really take pains to emphasize that I'm NOT venting about the people themselves. Just venting about the fact that they're not here.
