Wow. That's got to have an effect on your emotional makeup and sense of well-being. I can see why you're finding it difficult to leave your husband. Stability is very important in one's life.

Speaking of leaving..... that's tomorrow, isn't it? How are you holding up, Mal? (F)

Less than 24hrs from now I will be almost in Seattle. O.o I'm okay, I guess. Took an anti-anxiety med last night and had a very bad allergic reaction where I woke up feeling sick, got up to go be sick, then passed out on the floor in the bathroom and apparently hit the washer so hard that it woke my husband up. I also look like a leopard from my hives that are thankfully not itchy. There's more to it, but I don't think anyone wants to hear about projectile vomit when you first wake up.

He sounds like one of those people who thinks the world owes him a living. On his terms.

Yep.. pretty much.

Why is everything 7-10 days? Everything. Why?

7-10 days for a marriage certificate. 7-10 days for an SSN. 7-10 days (that's about a week overdue) for our car insurance policy cards.

I dislike 7-10 days. Almost as much as I dislike needles, heh. Maybe not. But still.

Well Mal - I hope you have an outstandingly wonderful trip and that you get a chance to relax, sorry you aren't feeling well.

Montreal consulate people, if you are bothering to read this - I would just like to point out that if you were faster and you didn't take such an ####### view of domicile that Mal would not being going through this right now.

That is all.

My hives are so bad I wake up to scratch my legs for like 2 hours a night and it makes me tired and they get so bad when I overheat and I dont want to have to slather my arms and shoulders in make up just to cover them for my wedding!

I cant even get my ring on still! Better pack some vasoline.

Run-on sentence due to sleepyness.

Rhiann,

I think you said you were tested out the wazoo for allergies, but do you think your hives could be caused by something else other than allergies?

I heard something on the radio yesterday about hives, that actually made me think of you.

Any family history of certain diseases? They mentioned Lupus as a possible cause, even things like stress, or depression.

I know it must be such a pain in the butt for you, but now whenever I get hives or hear about them, I'm wondering how you are doing...and here you are, posting about how bad they are. :(

Feelin' for ya! :)

Rhi and I suffer from the same type of hives - idiopathic. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to them, which sucks. I do know the hives I had last night were due to a anti-anxiety med. Otherwise, sometimes I'll wake up with them, sometimes I won't.
