lol. I have extra you can borrow! When do you leave again? I forgot.

I'm glad at least I dont have a lot to pack, its mainly just makeup and clothes and such...last minute things. But I need to get the clothes done so I can move them out so I can collapse my bed. We pack the truck in 2 days and leave in 4...its crazy!!!!!!

I get on the train on the 15th and get to Florida on the 19th. I want to pack as much as possible so that if I can't come back to help him move, he won't have too much of a problem. We have four of those 20 gallon tubs that will be filled up (one is already done) that will go in the car. Have boxes to fill with the rest for the train.

we're all escaping in the middle of winter! I hope your packing goes well Mal. I'd say they should have people to do this for us, but they do...I'm just too cheep to pay for them to throw things carelessly in boxes and break stuff on me (again).

How far do you have to drive? Hope all these snow storms knock off. :|

I don't mind packing. I'm a weirdo like that, though. :P

From Ontario to California, about 5 days, I dont mind the snow for driving, but I am slightly worried about the snow Chicago is suppose to get tomorrow and if its going to affect Wes's flight. I don't really hate packing either its just been a lot of stuff to sort through, a lot of purging and every time im like, oh yeah ill be fine, it suddenly dawns on me that theres still something else I have to do.

I want to vent about banks...again.

They tell you one thing - then turn around and tell you another thing completely. Oh sure, we can do that in 2 days....then you call them back and they say oh we can do that in 2 days BUT it will take another 5 business days to do the next thing to complete that.

Or, sure we can do that! It will cost you this - no problem. THEN, well we can't actually do that, I misread our guidelines <_<

bah.

Autumnchik ,

Look up frozen shoulder on line and read up about that. You'll be able to compare the symptoms and see if that is the problem. I hope it isn't, but it was this time last year when my shoulder started to hurt - and hurt and hurt like crazy! The range of motion kept decreasing and I would wake up in agony in the night if I lay on it. Nothing helped and I was basically living on ibuprofen. There are 3 stages to the syndrome - the 'freezing' part, which is very painful; the 'frozen' part which isn't very painful but has severely limited range of motion, and the 'unfreezing' part which is again very painful. I worked with my chiropractor to try and stop the pain before I found out that what I have is a 'frozen shoulder' and the basic consensus is that there is not much that can interrupt the process once it starts but pressure point therapy and deep tissue massage, combined with the application of heat and alternating with cold and ultrasound therapy will help. Once it actually 'freezes' then physiotherapy does make a big difference. Without treatment it can take up to three years before the 'unfreezing' starts. Physio has actually helped me to regain about 75 % range of motion now and the 'unfreezing' seems to be starting now - about a year later.

I hope this isn't what it is, but if it is there are things you can do now. You can use your own pressure point treatment but using your opposite thumb and fingers to find the super sensitive points and putting pressure on that point, working around the ligaments. It will hurt but it will work on preventing some of the freezing from occurring and limiting range of motion. Basically, it is inflammation (cause often unknown) right at the joint itself which then develops scar tissue around the joint capsule that limits movement. Physio works on breaking down that scar tissue. If all else fails, there is surgery to remove the scar tissue and break it up.

Good luck. If you are interested in any more information you can always PM me.

Ok, so some more bank venting, but this isn't really because it amused me and gave me a laugh - which I needed after being on the phone most of the day.

I called the RBC (i'm shopping for mortgages).

So the customer service guy asks me if I have an account with them, I say no, not a Canadian account but we do have a U.S. account. He says great, I can look that up, do you have your client card - well not handy - no problem, what is your name. I give him my name...hmm, no can't find it...ok how about account number, I have my cheque book here - sure! that will do.

Long story short, he never found our account, not even sure why he was looking since he was going to transfer me to a mortgage specialist - but guess what - none of them were available - but he could leave a msg and one would call me back in a day or two.

I said no, that's ok, thanks. They can't even find their own clients

I am trying to watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire but it is really bothering me how much they changed the story from the book ...GRRRRR I really think this movie should have been done in 2 parts because there is too much stuff they left out..

Man, I need to vent about an issue I've been having lately. It's Gmail. What the hell is wrong with it? It used to be so fast and dependable but now? It's so slow and I tend to send my freelance files with it but now? The smallest little PDF takes yonks to send.

anyone else notice this?
