Maybe the 'real' news channels could learn from Fox news.

Maybe the Fixed News cheerleaders could try and absorb an actual piece of factual news from time to time. Such as the fact that Anita Dunn has accepted the position of Communications Director on an interim basis - see below from April 30, 2009.

The Fixed News Conspiracy nuts will claim, of course, that the NYT changed this story from April 30 after the fact. Get out of the straightjackets and take off that tin foil hat already!

Dunn to Be Interim White House Communications Chief

By Jackie Calmes

A longtime Democratic consultant, Anita Dunn, has been coaxed into joining President Obama in the White House, agreeing to be his communications director for up to several months until a permanent appointee is named, an administration adviser said Thursday.

Its not as bad as you think, quit buying in to what all your lefty friends tell you.

So you're saying that the NYT article from April has been doctored now that Dunn is leaving the position she originally accepted on a temporary basis?

I guess this is my fault, I wasn't clear about what I was referring too. I was referring to your countless fixed news comments.

Well, that's the business they're in - fixing news. You'd rather I call them FOX Noise?

I would rather it be called a right leaning news station.

Well, I would do that if they were in the business of reporting news - which is what a news station does - rather than making them up.

simply not the case, theres more to fox news than cherry picking you tube videos. You should watch it for a good amount of time, I think you will see its not as far right as the none watching left would say it is

I consume FNS - yes, the whole hour - every week. That's about as much Fixed News as I can take.

###### about it? I don't give a ####### what people want to watch but if they are watching US tv for news, they are being sorely let down. There isn't one TV station that I have come across that does anything more than pay lip service to the notion of news. There are however very good sources of information available that never see the light of a tv screen.

So many things you dont like about the USA MC, I wonder sometimes why you dont move back to England. Probably for job reasons but dam if I was in a country I was so unhappy with I would find a way to leave, that said if you want to know what happened you can turn on a US news station and get just that, no deception. If you want a in depth look at the issue well then turn on your PC.

So many things? Simpson, I haven't made very many comments about things USA specific, let alone negative ones so I have no idea why you have come to such a conclusion. Needless to say, I didn't move here for job reasons, so I wouldn't stay here for job reasons either. I have to laugh at you because of your conclusion that I am unhappy, that is extremely funny. Regardless, news on US tv is extremely niave and shallow never mind which way it is biased (towards commercial ends, go figure!). I have much better things to do with my time than watch newswallpaper but thank you for your oh so genuine concern.

Neither do I. The best news hour I can find around here is that on PBS. I watch it daily.

I was thinking your husband might be stuck here because of job situation but I really dont know why and I guess I havent been here long enough to know your situation, do you care to share? Many of your responses over the period of time I have been here really gives one the impression that you are not to fond of the united states. I really dont think this is a stretch and I might be wrong but deep down I really dont think you like the united states.

No, my husband is not stuck in any sort of job situation. I sincerely have no idea why you have come to the conclusion that I hate living in the US. I have lived in several countries and have always found that each country is a mix of things that one likes, things that one is indifferent to and things that one would change if one could. There is no perfect situation, no perfect country, no perfect place. The US has some advantages to the last place I lived, and some definite disadvantages. Not all of these are things that could be changed, even if I were to want to. Life Simpson is very much what you choose to make of it (assuming one is not destitue). I choose always to be happy, no matter where I am, or what I am doing. I like where I live, although I do wish the trees would keep themselves to themselves ;)

I have come to this conclusion because you are very critical of the US. I dont ever see you defend or brag(for lack of a better word) about the US. That said you dont go on rants about how bad the US is and I like that but jeez a compliment about the great states every now and then would be nice. :D

I think Im on to something with that rear view mirror idea. :P

I am only critical about some things Simpson and many of those things are the same things that annoy me about other places that I have lived, specifically the oiliness of politicians.

There are many things I like about living in the US, not least the SoCal climate :)

Lots of people do have rear view bike mirrors, I might see about getting one although I don't think it would stop a tree from falling ;)

 Sure it wouldnt stop a tree but it would make a very old woman pick up the pace so she doesnt get hit by a tree :P
