I'm wondering if you are the best advert for the American male.

That I am.

I see your right eye is twitching Joe.

Actually my left one does now and then. The doctor says from lack of sleep. I seem to be spending all hours of the night talking to someone halfway around world.

He is such a baby, I can't see why anyone finds that guy in the least bit appealing. Is he really the best advert for self reliance and personal responsibility? Makes you think...

It's in the realms of facists are always ugly bastards

I always thought Mussolini was sorta Marlon Brando-ish, or was it the other way around?

elbailedelosmalditos.jpg

That is quite the profile. And Monty too? Young lions seems quite apt ;)

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Maybe the 'real' news channels could learn from Fox news.

Maybe the Fixed News cheerleaders could try and absorb an actual piece of factual news from time to time. Such as the fact that Anita Dunn has accepted the position of Communications Director on an interim basis - see below from April 30, 2009.

The Fixed News Conspiracy nuts will claim, of course, that the NYT changed this story from April 30 after the fact. Get out of the straightjackets and take off that tin foil hat already!

Dunn to Be Interim White House Communications Chief

By Jackie Calmes

A longtime Democratic consultant, Anita Dunn, has been coaxed into joining President Obama in the White House, agreeing to be his communications director for up to several months until a permanent appointee is named, an administration adviser said Thursday.

Its not as bad as you think, quit buying in to what all your lefty friends tell you.

So you're saying that the NYT article from April has been doctored now that Dunn is leaving the position she originally accepted on a temporary basis?

I guess this is my fault, I wasn't clear about what I was referring too. I was referring to your countless fixed news comments.

Well, that's the business they're in - fixing news. You'd rather I call them FOX Noise?

Fox reported several weeks ago that Anita Dunn would be leaving her post by the end of the year. Glenn Beck had nothing to do with it.

In two simple sentences, you shattered the fantasies of Lone Ranger, Pooky and Lucky. Shame on you.

Well, that would be if Fixed News hadn't actually spread the very claim - which is what got these three guys so excited - that Anita Dunn left because she was "Outfoxed". If Fixed News reported weeks ago that she was to leave, then this commentary would appear to contradict that very report. ;)

Liberal groups are already spinning Dunn's announcement, insisting that her role as communications director "was always meant to be temporary."

It's true. I saw it on Fox shortly after her appearance on CNN's Reliable Sources attacking Fox. A sources on a Fox prime time show (can't remember which one) announced that she was only in her post temporarily and would be gone in a couple of months. After that, I figured theWH decided to use her as their lead attack dog coz she was leaving anyway.

Meanwhile, there is talk that her husband will take over soon as WH counsel. Dunn's husband, Bob Bauer, is President Obama's personal lawyer and a former counsel to his campaign, as well as the top lawyer for the Democratic National Committee. The beat goes on.

We Hardly Knew Ya, Comrade Anita

dunn_madame_mao_copy.jpg

President Obama’s nasty communications director Anita Dunn, the Mao Zedong lover, is leaving the White House after just a few months of employment. As field marshal in the president’s war against Fox News, which she called “a wing of the Republican Party,” Dunn presided over a government-sanctioned dumbing down of political discourse.

The Atlantic’s Marc Ambinder claims in a bon voyage puff piece that within the West Wing the venomous Dunn is known as the “Fairy Godmother.”

Dunn fancied herself a standup comedian when she unconvincingly claimed she was only joking when she praised Mao by calling the brutal Communist dictator of China “one of the two people that I turn to most.” Hilarious! There have to be 70 million murdered Chinese rolling in the aisles! What a knee-slapper.

In a farewell air kiss, Ambinder wrongly claims Dunn was unfairly attacked for her “(clearly arch) citation of Chairman Mao as a favorite philosopher in a light-hearted speech to college graduates.” In fact the speech wasn’t terribly light-hearted and it was before impressionable little kids. (The Lower School of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, Md., serves “preschool and elementary students.”)

Next stop for Dunn: the Friars Club.

But seriously folks, Dunn is heading off to make gazillions at her consulting firm. However, this thug’s going to stay on as a consultant to the White House.

“I’m sure Chairman Mao would appreciate that whole private wealth thing ya got goin’ there,” Glenn Beck said on his TV show today.

Dunn’s successor at the White House will be Dan Pfeiffer. The unctuous insider Ambinder shows just how objective he is when he lauds the incoming communications director for his “coolness on health care — even as the political world was going into a tizzy.”

Was Pfeiffer in the room when President Obama created the “flag@whitehouse.gov” rat-out-your- friends-and-neighbors-who-oppose-socialist-medicine program? Not exactly a cool move.

Well, I would do that if they were in the business of reporting news - which is what a news station does - rather than making them up.
