Does Guangzhou use fiancee's e-mail address?

We recently submitted packet 3 to Guangzhou, and form 230 has entry for fiancee's e-mail address. Apparently someone has attempted to access her e-mail, and now has her account locked out. MSN / hotmail account, and we can not gain access nor assistance from MSN to reopen the account. My question is this: Will the consulate use this address for any communication, and if so, how do we notify the consulate to use an alternate e-mail?

For NORMAL stuff, no.

There have been stories of receiving appointment letter via email, but it's sporadic... ie - not done all the time.

If she receives the P4 with appointment letter via postal / ems - then no need to worry at all.

She MIGHT need an email address after the interview, if she needs to ask the IV unit anything (usually about a blue slip, though ) .

Does she have a regualr 163 account? She should be easy to get one, if she doesn't have one already.

06/01/10 AP received in the mail

06/04/10 Notice on mailing of EAD card received

07/10/10 AOS touched

08/09/10 still no updates

09/09/10 AOS touched

09/11/10 I-129F touched (???)

Brief update: Guangzhou phoned us this morning and asked Hui to verify that she requested to have the e-mail address changed to my e-mail address. The lady on the phone wanted Hui to send a "verification" message via e-mail. Thankfully, Hui decided to put me on the phone, and thankfully the lady at Guangzhou spoke English very well. She asked me if I sent the message for the change (I e-mailed an updated address to GUZ). I told her that I did. She apparently wondered why I was able to answer Hui's phone, so she asked Hui if we were already married? (of course, no) She ended the call by informing us that our interview is scheduled December 3!!!!
