So USCIS approved BOTH I130 & I129f on the same day. I received a notice in the mail saying they are both approved and are being sent to the NVC. Once it gets there, which one do they expect me to follow. Or which visa will i be filling out for?

I would go with the I-130 since that would be the cheaper route BTW CONDRATS!

I had the same situation. Neither was cancelled and both are proceeding now. The I-129F passed up the I-130 because it didn't have to be processed by NVC. But it has stalled at the Embassy in Manila. I am now paying the fees and submitting the 2 documents required by NVC for the I-130. Soon they will forward the I-130 to Manila. So I am going to accept the first one we have interview for. I did read somewhere that if they schedule the I-129F interview, then the I-130 is ready to ask NVC to expedite the I-130 to the embassy....and keep the original appointment. I am not sure if this will work, but I will try.

Go for the CR1/IR as this is MUCH cheper, gets you the GC and authorization to work when you enter, no AOS ####### and is a FAR superior visa all around...
