I'm very sorry this happened to you. Unfortunately, when you post photos, videos, and other personal information on public message boards and hosting sites, you are vulnerable to those who might not have your best interest at heart and who take pleasure in making fun of total strangers. That doesn't excuse what this person did to you, but once your personal information is out there, there is not much you can do to prevent this sort of thing from happening.

A few years ago, something similar happened here. Someone who was not, to my knowledge, even a member of VJ copied photos of MENA couples from VJ and reposted them elsewhere in order to ridicule the women and promote an agenda. This is why you will see very few photos of MENA couples on VJ, at least the longtime members. It's too bad it has to be that way, but ultimately, you're the only person who can control your personal information. You could try to challenge them on the blog site, but you may not get very far. I'm sorry, but you may need to take it as a hard lesson learned.

I aso remember when that happened, but, even now, warning to people about not posting pics of themselves and personal info here are often greeted with hostility.

thank u everyone for your comments and yes i know i put myself out there but i was just trying to preserve my memories andmake it to where my family all over this world could see us, but ididots really made this a bad thing for me so i guess i can go to you tube and set them all on privacy and make it to where only the ones on my list on you tube can view them, i would delete them but the disc i have them on is dammaged so if i delete them then ill loose all of it,, thanks everyone for your support, ill try to get through this, just hurts!

Not to be mean or funny or ANYthing of that sort but I highly doubt the "children" will be calling him dad or papa. Hes only a few years older than the oldest one. I know when my adopted father died and I was 16, I did NOT call my moms husband "dad" or pops when she married 3 yrs later.

Aisha, I just want to mention also that this person took a *PUBLIC* piece of work that you posted and decided, as they stated, to give it an actual "review". I think this person genuinely enjoyed your videos and thought it would be fun to critique them a little. Take it with a grain (or two) of salt!!

And on one more note, if I ever had the desire to post a public piece of work like a video, I would actually feel honored that someone was so moved as to write a whole piece in review of my work. I hope you can try to see the good in it too:) The way I see it, your videos were so different and interesting and honest that someone decided it was worth spending a half hour (or however long) writing alllll about it!!! :)

Reading the different responses on the comment section, I'd say the audience makes it feel like everyone is trying to get a VISA to the US. The audience thinks that people will do whatever it takes (even scamming, etc...), however, failing to realize that getting a VISA requires tremendous efforts to convince the consulate to approve.

These audiences have less of a knowledge of what goes on during the VISA process. They will always assume things as being bad to apply for a VISA, etc...or petitioning. In fact, it's the method of petitioning that grants the spouse or fiancee a VISA. Petitioning is not the process of persuasion, but more of a request to grant a VISA. The audience's comments are ridiculous out of touch with how USCIS works.
