Hi guys!

I posted this question already once, but I still would like to get more feedback for it.

It is regarding question 9 on the form 134: “I have previously submitted affidavit of support for the following person(s) If none, state None.”

My fiancees dad will be my co-sponsor. 25 years ago when some of his family members wanted to visit him from his home country Poland he had to fill out some paper work in order that they could come and visit him (he does not remember if it was an affidavit of support). He did that a couples of times back than. I guess it was nececarry due to the Cold War and Poland was under Russian control at this time. It was always just for a visiting visa for a couple of weeks. So it was for sure not the same affidavit of support like the I-134 now.

First Question: Does anyone know if this papers he turned in for the tourist visa was an affidavit of support?

The first time one of his brothers came to visit him from Poland. He went back after a couple of weeks. He died 4 years ago in Poland.

The second time his other brother came to visit him. He came on a visiting visa and stayed illegally in the U.S.. After a while he got his green card and has U.S. citizenship now.

The third time a cousin wanted to visit him. But he didn’t got a visiting visa, probably cause his brother stayed illegally in the US. She is still living in Poland

I know that I apply for a K1 visa and that it is something completely different than a tourist visa 25 years ago. I just don’t want to get denied because of that story.

Second Question: Should I write all his family members down, even his cousin who got denied for a tourist visa? Or do I just put “None”, cause I don’t even really know if he filled out a affidafit of support or something else?

Third Question: Also he doesn’t remember the exact date any more cause it is so long ago. Should I just write unknown? And should I supply a letter explaining the whole story?

Thank you guys and I really will appreciate your help
