I really need your help guys!

I tried to figure out the answers by myself, but I read different comments in the forum!

My co-sponsor (dad of my fiancée) for the K1 visa is filling out the I-134 form and has some questions about it. He is self-employed and makes $90,000 per year (form 1040 line 22).

Question 1:

Do the copies that he provides like latest income tax return, copy of his naturalization certificate or US passport etc. have to be notarized copies or can they be just normal copies. In the instruction of the I-134 form it says they have to be just ordinary legible photocopies. In the guidelines here it says that the latest income tax return has to be a notarized copy.

Refer to: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=305

Which copies have to be notarized? All of them, just the latest income tax return or none?

Question 2:

On the I-134 Question 3 (“This affidavit is executed on behalf of the following person”) my fiancee’s dad has to write down information about me (Name, address etc.) What does he has to write down for the question “Relationship to Sponsor”: “my daughters fiancé”??? or something else?

Question 3:

My co-sponsor makes $90,000 per year and his household consist of 2 dependent people + me. So his income is enough to sponsor me. He just gave me a copy of his latest income tax return. Is this enough as an evidence? Or do I have to provide more information. On the example form for I-134 question 7 there is just the income filled out and the rest is left blank. In some of the forms I read that I should provide more information.

Do I have to provide also information about his account like: date account opened, total amount deposited for the past year, present balance?

He also owns a house and just bought a second one with his wife (they took a mortgage for that). But I don’t want to start collect papers for that if it is not necessary.

Is one document enough? If not what other documents should I provide?

Question 4:

On his income tax return (2008) his two children are mentioned as dependent on him. His wife stopped working in 2009, so theoretically she is now dependent on him too. Do I have to mention this on a extra piece of paper and write her name down on the I-134 form for question 8? Does she has to provide any papers too? It wouldn’t make even a difference, cause his income would be still enough. I was just wondering what’s the right way to do it.

Question 5:

My fiancées dad will be my co-sponsor. I was reading in the forum that when someone is married, both the co-sponsor and his wife have to sign the I-134 form.

Is this true or does just the co-sponsor sign the form alone?

Thanks a lot for your help.

None

On behalf of the intending immigrant. Relationship = Petitioner's Father

Question 3:

My co-sponsor makes $90,000 per year and his household consist of 2 dependent people + me. So his income is enough to sponsor me. He just gave me a copy of his latest income tax return. One complete tax return and a couple recent pay stubs will do. If income is sufficient, he can simply leave all asset related questions blank.

Nothing is needed for the wife. Sounds like he has a wife and two children as dependants.

Just the co-sponsor signs the form but he will state only his income, not joint income. Seems that's the situation anyway.
