is it possible after applying K3 Visa and receiving the NOA2 to apply K1 Visa to expedite the process so that the non-USC spouse will get here in short time because K3 is a long process to wait.

um no. If you've alreayd started the petition for K3, you'd obviously already be married. K1 is for fiance(e)s only. You'd have to divorce in order to be eligible for K1, and that's gonna take longer than the K3.

i have seen other couple not in this site that have applied K3 because they got married in foreign country. after the USC petitioner received the NOA2 for K3, he decided (or i would say it was the immigrant attorney suggestion) to apply for K1 to expedite the process. they were successful on this. i was thinking of doing this route minus the attorney because i couldnt afford it, i was wondering if its possible then.

It doesn't matter if you're married in a foreign country... if you're married, you're married... A K-1 is only eligible for those persons who are not married.

So you'll just have to wait it out on the K-3 or the CR-1 if the I-130 is approved before the I-129F and it gets to the consulate faster...

That would be a good way to receive a lifetime ban of ever receiving a visa as it would be a fraudelent visa. The Consulate will ask for a certificate of non-marriage, and if your marriage is registered, then what are you going to say??

i need to get my facts right..i guess the person that i know who filed for K visa was K3 after all
