Hello fellow memebers.the new version of the G-325a has only one page now, Do i only send one page or do i send four as it was with the old version. The old version you had to send four, now it only has one.what to do. My wife signed the old version when we got married this year in october and i was going to send the forms this week with the I-130 but on the top right corner the form expired on 05/31/09, is this form still valid or do i have to send the new verion. Also, if i send the new version which hasn't been signed, can i sign the form for my wife.do i sign it with her complete name which is her first, middle and last two names or just first and last.

you will need the newer version of the form. Best bet would be just to e-mail it filled out and have her print out 4 copies and sign all 4. That is what the guide says. I only sent 1 copy of the G325 in mine. I figured it would have specified one way or the other (it doesnt)...it is a gamble i know. I know i read somewhere on here that you could sign it for her and print her name on the bottom according to the person they talked to at the USCIS, but they called twice and got 2 different answers.

I say just have her sign the new one and send it to you...have her give you like 5 copies signed and you can send 4. That way you wont be held up for an RFE.

I can answer one question right-one copy of the 325A is fine (I was approved with one copy). Do you mean the 325A form that your wife signed expired on 5/31/09? Here's what we did-my hubby did the expired 325A after our wedding and gave it to me (the new one wasn't online yet). When I got back home, the new 325A was online so that's the one I did. So his had four copies, mine had one. However, I can't answer your question but hopefully someone else can. (since the new one is available online now). You might want to check the USCIS page where the forms are. I remember that they'd put expiration dates on there but it would reflect if you could still send it in or not. She needs to sign it though-you can't sign it for her.

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

Don't worry about the expiration date. They will accept the old form. Sending four copies of the old one is the best practice but one will do just fine. The information is what they're looking for.
