Hello! Can i still go with my interview with only have a xerox copy of my second birth cert.( the correct one )? Can i get deny for that? Or put me in AP? Coz i happened to have a double bc and need to cancel first my old reg. for me to get my new one..and im thinking, it will take so long and my interview will be on nov. 16.. :crying:

Any advice will be highly appreciated.Godbless!

sis, go to nearest NSO and do what you need to do. and ask them how long it would take. if you wont be able to make it on youre interview, have it rescheduled asap,NO SHOW at the embassy would be the last thing you want right!?

I did sis. And they said i need to go in a court process for me to cancel my old BC..wahhh! Seems like i have to deal with it. :crying:

Sound familiar to me!!!i always having problem with my BC cuss I'm late registration misspelled middle name but the problem during my interview just notice few days prior to my interview is misspelled middle name so i was issued 221g i was so worried cusss it took a month to process...here's how just go to your local civil registrar and tell them your prob bring with you your BC...there is so many papers to fill up there and show them the proof of your correct name and they will process they will send it to NSO manila send it through LBC so it will be faster and inclose LBC return bag so they send it back faster it will take two weeks in NSO manila and Ten days publication in your local civil registrar and after publication they will return your Corrected BC in NSO manila so it will be a week again after that!! your BC is in your hand corrected.....

.....God is really Good....this is life together as one.....

Local Civil Registrar where you were born cannot correct or amend every error on your BC.

RA-9048 allows local civil registry to amend names with obvious typhographical error or the name is causing him/her embarassment because of the given name are having some inappropriate meaning in this modern time.
