Hello All,

My husband is here on a CR-1 on June 16. He still has not received his greencard, though he has received 2 identical Welcome letters.

Is there an office to call, or anyone to check on the status with??

Thanks,

Tracy

It can take about 2 weeks to get the greencard after the welcome letter has arrived...

If it is more than that I would make an infopass appointment at your local office and check eith them that the card has been issued...

You can make an infopass appointment at the USCIS website.

Stewart got his welcome letters and green card at the exact same time...so that may be unusual? I 'm not sure.

I think Kezzie has good advice

After 3 weeks and 5 Welcome to America letters later, I received my card. It all depends on how quickly your service centre is at getting the info from the district office and mailing the card out. Not sure if making an INFOPASS appointment will do any good, since the district offices don't actually send out the card, dunno.
