name change....what about passport?

I am a U.S citizen, who haswithin the last couple of months had my name changed due to my recent marriage. Can i still travel with my passport that has my maiden name even though my current name still has my maiden>??? for example. .... my maiden name is torrez, and my married name is torrez-flor, i have valid driver licenes showig my current name updated, its just my passport has my maiden name 'torrez' on it. I heard that if i take valid state issued ID with a photo along with my passport to show who i am, i can board and everything will be fine.... is this true??? Any comments or concerns? thanks -Kristina

March 10, 2009 AOS paperwork sent, will wait for it to arrive via tracking #

March 12, 2009 AOS paperwork arrives in Chicago

March 23, 2009 NOA1 for I-485, I-131, I-765

March 30, 2009-Biometrics letter received, appt date April 10th @11am philly office

April 10, 2009-Biometrics appt. done, in and out in 15 minutes

Nov. 18, 2009-Card production ordered

The main thing when traveling internationally (especially by air) is that your ticket(s) must match your passport. That is what security will definitely be looking at.

So as long as my ticket matches my passport, it doesnt matter about my name change??

I don't see how it would matter - of course you could always get a new passport.
