Hello T and E ! True, you are not that far behind. As you said it yourself, once they reach the November box is gonna be almost your turn.

Rionet, I kind of feel the same way. I' m excited and worried at the same time. I' m a pessimist by nature so this process is a hard one for me. I' m looking forward to receive our NOA 2 soon. It' s gonna feel better knowing we are closer and closer !

Is anyone already filling the forms, doing medical exams, getting police certificates . . . or you are waiting for the NOA 2 first ? !

I suscribed to their e-mail notification system so I know I'm supposed to receive an e-mail whenever the petition gets touched but nooooooooooooooo I still have to check online because "what if the e-mail notification system is not working?". Im a lost cause lol

A December filer here...was just peaking in to see how you were all going & after reading (and choking on my water mind you) I see I am not the only ####### retentive perfectionist here! I had my fiance label every single thing just as I asked before he filed the petition! I wanted the perfect petition so it would breeze through CSC without a hiccup & we could be together. I also check USCIS far tooo often!!

Anyway, just wanted to pop i to wish you all luck..cos once your petitions start getting approved, it means mine isnt far behind!!

Ok, after I said I wasn't going to look on the USCIS website to check the status of our file until the end of January...I was a bad girl today and checked. Still hasn't been touched since 12/1, but I wasn't really expecting anything anyways. I guess I just freaked out because it seems like a lot of people posting on the homepage are being denied or receiving RFE's.

So, I've started filling out some of the forms for the next round and have researched how to go about getting the police certificate for my fiance. (He was living in Ireland for several years.) Anyhoo, guess I'll just continue to be "patient."

What is going on in CSC offices ? ! My timeline showed last week we could be approved somewhere in the last week of January and now it shows we can be approved only at the end of February !!! Nooo !!! BUT . . . an October filer with a NOA 1 around 10 / 20 got approved today . . . so . . . my poor nerves !!!

Seriously! What is the deal?! I went from expecting the NOA2 in mid-late Feb, and now I'm into mid-March! I'm soooo sad!!!

I dont know but mine said it was going to be approved between Feb 10-13. Now it changed to Feb 22nd to March 3rd..........

AND . . . yesterday was showing : Petitions with NOA 1 October 8 / 9 are currently being processed and today shows October 2 !!! I wanna add a 9 to that 2 !!!

Probably the Holidays.

From what I read on an interview with a former USCIS employee, whoever gets your application will review it and approve it for start to finish (unless it raises certain flags or falls into certain category) so Im guessing lots of people taking time off, applications sitting on their desks, now they have to deal with the backlog.

Yeah Im impatient and I would love for my peition to be approved ASAP since Montreal has a big backlog and that's going to be another 2 -3 months wait but I can't blame them for taking time off during the Holidays. I went on vacation too. As much as it sucks, I guess it was to be expected during this time of the year.

Oh well, patience, alcohol and ice cream are always the answer.

All of you don't be sad. Have you checked Igor's List? It says 2 October filers have received their NOA2s yesterday Jan.7 they were even dated Oct. 22 and 26. Please read their thread too and you will see that most of them are getting touches too. I am hoping we will get our NOA2 sooner than we expect too. Keep the faith!

Hi all,

We're November 2009 K1 Filers as well - just a little slow at joining the group online!

We mailed in on Nov. 4th and received the NOA1 dated as Nov. 9th.

We're are also wondering why the processing times at VSC are going backwards! We thought we were mis-reading the graphs or something, but looks like everyone is disappointed/confused as well.

November friends ! I checked Igor' s list and saw a NOA 2 for 10 / 22 but not the 10 / 26 ( Awesome !!! ) I went through a October thread and you are so right Rionet, there are many getting " touched " . I have a feeling all those " touches " mean an NOA 2. I' d love to see some November petitions approved in January !

Amars, how I understand ! I hope you saw the Igor' s list too ( there are 13 October approvals out of 15 ) . It' s a pretty good sign. I hope the NOA' s are gonna " rain " this week. I can' t wait for them to open our box too ! Hang in there a bit longer !
