My family dont think Im crazy, they think Im an ####### retentive, obsessive compulsive control freak

I labeled and numbered every picture and piece of evidence. I then created an Index listing every single document and used paper tabs to tag and divide everything by section. They may not be far from the truth after all. LOL

Funny thing yesterday… My fiancé is staying with me for the Holidays. He went out shopping for my birthday gift so we were communicating thru text messages. After posting here, I sent him a message saying the same thing I said on the post “I was expecting a touch for my birthday but it didn’t happen”. He then texted me back apologizing and said “I’ll get you one next time I get paid”

Uh? What the heck is he talking about?

Turns out the thought I meant I wanted an IPod Touch for my birthday and I was going to be disappointed because he got me perfume instead. Poor thing. I need to remember he can’t follow my train of thought if he doesn’t know what im thinking! He can’t read my mind… yet! Im giving him until the visa is approved to learn

Ok - I think we must be parallel universe twins or something b/c my family thinks I'm also "####### retentive (to a degree) and an obsessive compulsive control freak" when it comes to things like this.

AND, I also labeled every picture, piece of evidence, and created an index listing all of the documents AND used numbered tabs and a two-pronged file folder to create the "perfect packet." HAHAHAHAAH!!!

I was so proud of the packet, I took a picture of it! hahahaahah!! Maybe we should compare and have a lil contest.

The "touch" story is hilarious!!! So cute!

Yes - we are neighbors! My fiance, Ivan, is actually in Croatia. He's from Slavonski Brod (by the Bosnian border). That would be hilarious if you flew together!

Cool ! I know where Slavonski Brod is. The city where I live in Slovenia ( at the Italian border ) is only 2 or 3 hours away from Croatia. Have you ever visited him there ? ! If you didn' t you must come and jump into the Adriatic sea !

How cool! I actually just returned from visiting him in Croatia in early November. It was amazing! We didn't get a chance to get to the coast because it was pretty cold, but we did spend time in Osijek, Zagreb, Hungary, and Slavonski Brod. I LOVE it there!!! We've talked about starting our honeymoon in Croatia so we can visit the coast.

So, I was a good girl today and didn't check the USCIS site. Let's see how long I can hold out.

How cool! I actually just returned from visiting him in Croatia in early November. It was amazing! We didn't get a chance to get to the coast because it was pretty cold, but we did spend time in Osijek, Zagreb, Hungary, and Slavonski Brod. I LOVE it there!!! It' s amazing you got to visit all those places with him ! Last time I was in Croatia was last year in January ( near Split ) . I' d definitely recommend you to visit Dubrovnik ( in the south ) too. When you come back and while enjoying your honeymoon visit Slovenia too, having a great lunch and a glass of good wine or beer !

Spending 2 awesome weeks with my Fiance. I was one of the lucky ones who had the chance to spend the Holidays with her sweetheart.

I dropped him off at the airport about an hour ago Now that he's gone (and I dont know when im going to see him again) is time to down a whole pint of ice cream and watch the USCIS website like a hawk.

Hello November people ! I see we are all here, waiting, patiently, unpatiently. I just switched into the 3rd month of a waiting. I hope for some positive answers somewhere in January. I checked Igor' s list and saw the first approval from a October filer ( NOA 1 date : October 8 ) . Tomorrow, another working week starts at USCIS and I hope to see some action during the upcoming days and weeks. I got some more informations about taking a medical exam here in SLO. I' ll try to put some papers together soon ( also regarding the interview ) . I' m excited and I just wanna get towards the end of this process and finally start my life with my fiance !

I am back! I was able to check that there are 5 approvals from October 2009 but one of which does not convince me. The filing dates were Sept '09 though, but the NOAs are October.

Hang on there! I hope everybody get their approval soon... Honestly, Im excited and worried at the same time.

A December filer here...was just peaking in to see how you were all going & after reading (and choking on my water mind you) I see I am not the only ####### retentive perfectionist here! I had my fiance label every single thing just as I asked before he filed the petition! I wanted the perfect petition so it would breeze through CSC without a hiccup & we could be together. I also check USCIS far tooo often!!

Anyway, just wanted to pop i to wish you all luck..cos once your petitions start getting approved, it means mine isnt far behind!!
