Anwesha,

From what I know, in some embassies/consulates they only enter new petitions/data on certain days (i.e. Friday) so maybe that is the reason?

You know more about it from regional boards, I am just trying to find something comforting to say...

Like, Kiev, enters their received petitions once in a blue moon. "Every" Friday they say, but they don't do it every Friday.

I believe you will hear something back very soon!

Hello captain!

I know you from somewhere :)

Okay I guess I was not very clear ,but the thing is Mumbai consulate does acknowledge having received our package from Mumbai, and of also mailing me out my lovely crisp package 3.I was just being a restless child and hoping for miracles from the Indian postal system!

Hmm I will wait it out. Thanks for the suggestion though.I do indeed keep learning new things on here every hour :|

Hello ! How is everyone doing ? How is all proceeding ? There is a quick update from our part ! :)

As you can see from our timeline, our approved petition was received by the American embassy in Ljubljana last Monday. Today, I received the famous Packet 3. I got so excited when I saw it in my mailbox. The woman ( at the American embassy ) I spoke to was extremely kind and helpful. My medical examination is scheduled for March 24. We' ll see from there then. :)

Good luck to everyone still waiting for their NOA 2, to those who are dealing with NVC and the embassies and to those who already scheduled their interviews !

Good to hear you got Packet 3!!! We are still waiting on the police certificate from Ireland! It's been 3 weeks already and all they could tell Ivan was they were working on it! :crying: It makes us so sad that one stupid piece of paper is holding everything up! The good thing is he will be able to schedule the interview and we just have to pray he gets the certifcate before then. He's going to call the lady at the embassy and schedule the interview for the first week of April! Yayyyy!!!

Hello there Lindsey ! Yes, I' m going for my medical tomorrow. While attending the examination I' ll need to have with me the 3 required photos + The certificate of vaccination. Once I' m done with this the embassy it' s gonna schedule my interview. :)

Was Ivan living, studying, working in Ireland ? Where you need to apply for this police certificate ? Did he apply online for it ? I wonder why it' s taking so long as I can get a police certificate here in Slovenia ( and I understand the part of mailing it from Ireland to Croatia ) in exact 10 minutes without any previous announcements. I know the wait for it can be quite upsetting but I' m sure he' ll receive it any day now. Zagreb embassy works pretty fast so no worries for interview scheduling. :)

Hi everyone- sorry for the post, as I know most of you have already gone through this- so its old news for you! :) We finally got approved by USCIS on March 19th. I called NVC today- I know, way early- just to see if by chance they received our info yet. They said no, that I needed to wait about 1-2 weeks after receiving my NOA2 in the mail (which hasn't happened yet). But, then we got a touch from USCIS again today. Anyone know what that means? Sent out to NVC? Received by NVC? Just curious. Thanks!

Hey. That happen to me and when i called the NVC they confirmed and said the case had been forwarded to the Embassy. I would call the embassy 3 to 4 working days to see if they have your case. But make sure you call the NVC first and get your new case number.

Best of luck

-Cheers

It probably means they scanned your file one last time to send it to the NVC. It happened to most of us :)

Fellow November travelers:

The journey for us has come to a close. The embassy in Port of Spain was so kind as to issue her visa today, and she catches the first flight out of town tomorrow morning, arriving in Sacramento tomorrow night. It has felt like this would last forever, even though our process was pretty quick by US Govt standards -- a total of 4.5 months from mailing the petition to boarding the plane. Even with two visits during the wait, it felt interminable right up to the end.

To those who are still waiting, my heart goes out to you. The US Govt works on a timetable that defies explanation, but some day your number will flash on the screen and your turn will come around. Maybe we'll all have free health care by then, eh!

Best wishes --

hello JohnAnwesha,

I am in the same boat as you. NVC approved on March 4th and sent to Delhi Embassy. I am still waiting on packet 3. I got confirmation email that they have emailed packet 3 to my fiance. Did you get your packet 3 yet?

Thanks

Deven

Hi Anwesha,

I got a email from the Embassy saying the got my Packet 3 form ( scans ). They also mentioned they will schedule a interview about 4-6 weeks after they got my forms for packet 3 which was March 24th. So it looks like my fiance interview will be sometime in late April / Early May at the earliest :).

Hi.

Yeh my fiance scanned them once she printed and signed them and dated them and emailed them over to the embassy. You should include your case number / petitioner / beneficiery name / dob for each in the email. Create one cover letter will all the info they need to access your file.

Yes its only form DS-230 ( part 1 ) and DS-2001.

Best of luck.
