Hey bigbear, a quick question since your case is also handled by the Boston Office. Did they give you the oath letter right after the interview or they mailed it to you later?

They gave the oath letter in the same day that I had the inteview. I can't believe it how fast are other offices with their oath letters; my oath is scheduled at 3 months after the interview. But I gues I shouldn't complain, as soon will be over and that they are others that have to wait longer than me.

It is quite unbelievable to see that there is a three months gap between the interview and the oath ceremony. Oh well, at least your wait is almost over. And soon you will be rid of USCIS for good. You deserve a big congratulations for that!

I will be going to do an interview on April 12th. Do you mind telling a little about your experience and what evidence you have brought with you to the interview?

I just realized from reading VJ back and forth that my oath letter is taking so long due to the fact that I need a judicial oath ceremony. I am chaning my name and thus the requirement.

Thanks all for keeping me sane and I was starting to get worried.

Just got my oath date of March 31st - my ceremony is at the Milwaukee Field Office

Naturalized today in Tallahassee, FL. Great Ceremony!!. Was Delighted and Proud to be there.

This is the End of my Immigration Journey. I am Thankfull to all who provided support and encouragement on this difficult trip and wish the remaining filer's best of luck!!!!

I am sorry this answer it's not so prompt like the previous . I can't wait to be done with USCIS. I remember I brought at the interview everything I sent in with my applicationplus my driver's license. i received a letter before my interview to bring in the driver's license with me. I can say that I did not have hundreds of pages like other applicants, but I think that the evidence was strong enough that the IO did not had any doubt about the marriage. Here's a list of what I had with me:

- copy of marriage license

- copy of my husbands birth certificate

- copy of mortgage contract

- copy of federal and state tax return for 2006, 2007, 2008

- copy of our child birth certificate

I was asked to read: "What state has the most people?". And then the IO said to write down the answer: "California has the most people". All the interview was done in 15-20 minutes. I forgot the questions from the test, but if you look on this Nov applicants, you can read it.

Interview it's not hard at all, and you have no reason to worry about it. Just study or listen the CD and you should be good :yes: . Good luck.
