We (or at least, ScooterMac, my fiancee, while I was paying the MRV fee) were told that the director was "furious" that people were so mean on here, but they also seemed to know that VJers are incredibly organized for the most part. Our paperwork already had the "approved" highlighted when they told me to look it over and sign it, so I figured that was a good sign.

So yeah, they are quite familiar with VisaJourney in Montreal; they actually gave lgg a message by her username through one of the November 6 interviewers.

In yrs past it had been mentioned that some of the consulate workers knew about VJ. Thats why I'm surprised that some say certain things that could incriminate them, ie getting someone to forge a signature for gaurdisil stating they gave it to you, when they didnt!, very easy to track down that person, if they wanted to. And soem people wonder why it takes them longer.Seriously, if your working ur butt off, and you knew people were slagging you, you might just skip over that file or take a bit longer doing it.

That said - I don't think it would slow down anyone's application - they are professionals, with an important job to do and I don't think they would take it that lightly.

An even better rule of thumb is to always be above board and honest with everything you do. Some people find that harder than others it seems.

Well I hope there isn't a stigma now where the COs think that all VJers post negatively. I never have .

I don't know if there is a public memo or not, but I think it's generally common knowledge here.

I agree. I really don't feel the need to cower down to anyone about my sadness, frustration and ire at having to wait so long for an interview. I've never said anything that could incriminate me as a person or as a visa applicant. I have nothing to hide. My husband and I are two good people, doing good things, being held up by bureaucratic red tape. If they asked me at my interview what I thought of the process -- I would tell them verbatim all of the things I've said here. They are basing my admittance to the US on the information I've given them which proves that I am honest, a good citizen and who I say I am. If they were to judge people or whatnot because we get frustrated and mouthy at how inconsistent and difficult this process can be, then none of us would have our visas.

If they have a message for me -- they can send it along with my interview letter!
