Hi everyone, got a stupid question and hopefully i can get an answer. Is it alright to print my photos of fiance & myself from home computer or should i burn to disk and take to a store to be printed out? does it really matter either way? Thanks to everyone in advance!

I printed 4 pics per page with captions on bond paper thruout the process. Worked fine.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Many people (myself included) print their own photos using their home printer; there is no requirement that photos be either on photo paper nor professionally printed. Us, like many people, simply pasted several photos to a single page and printed it out (we sent two pages with about 6 or so photos total).

Thank you so much for the very fast responses. I am sending in my k1 application next week and was just wondering if this was something USCIS would make a fuss about. Thanks once again! Best of luck to everyone and thank God for this website, everyone here is a life saver!

I too printed mine out 4 to a page and wrote captions... They are less likely to get seperated from your package if they are easily clipped with your paperwork and a standard paper size... I also liked being able to write the captions below...

10/14/2000 - Met Aboard a Cruise ship

06/14/2003 - Married Savona Italy

I-130

03/21/2009 - I-130 Mailed to Chicago lockbox

11-30-09: GOT GREEN CARD in mail!!!!!!

Citizenship Process;

1/11/2013: Mailed N400 to Dallas Texas

3/11/2013: interview.. Approved

4/4/2013. : Oath! Now a U.S. citizen!

Maybe, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Btw, I meant all those pictures for the interview stage.

I sent in 6 with our I130 petition.

I've read plenty of people just print them out and write captions.

I worry too much, so I was convinced that there might be a problem - maybe they'd say that the quality wasn't good enough, or I made them too small, or think that I had tampered with them - so I had mine printed professionally.

I sent in about 8 photos for the I-129F application, and I have another 6 on order which I intend to take with me to the interview in addition to copies of the 8 I originally submitted for the I-129F. I wish we had more, but my fiance and I always seem to manage to forget! (Plus, the camera always seems to end up breaking or running out of batteries right when we DO try to take photos)

Don't expect them to return your photos if you do submit them though. I certainly haven't seen those that I sent for my fiance to submit with the I-129F back (not that it matters, I didn't expect to).

It is OK if they are legible.

Our interview is scheduled in 3 weeks (finally!). Question on the photos that Hui will provide to prove our continued relationship during the interview: Will GUZ keep them, or return them? We had a couple of dozen taken over the past year printed for "submitting". The local print shop here in Changsha does a lousy job, so the photos are all slightly off color, so I did not mind if GUZ will keep them. However, if they will be returned, we will show the "pretty" photos with the correct color...

Na, GUZ will return them on interview day. They don't keep photo books.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
