Would this still be allowed to be used if my fiancee faxed over her signed letter of intent to continue to get married instead of sending it via snail mail???

I guess if its signed by her that means the same?

Hi Drelewis,

My suggestion to you is: Don't get creative with these guys at USCIS, If they ask for an original SIGNED document, you give it to them :D Use snail-mail or FEDEX.

I agree! you need the original! send it priority mail! an RFE delay could take longer than originally waiting and doing it right. Plus I would think USCIS know's how easy it is to place a signature onto a piece of paper fraudulently.

We signed all forms and letters in blue ink to show they were original signatures.

I agree with everyone else, don't use a faxed copy. Wake her up, lol. Wait, isn't it 1:30 over there??

I am in the UK she is in Indy. My fiancee really hates this visa stuff she just says " Tell me what you need and i will get it" " i dont want to know about the process as i just get confused and worried"

Which is fine by me because she does get everything when i need it. (L)

I know that VJ recommends that you send a new letter of intent to marry, but I'm not sure it's a must-have document. The important thing is to collect evidence that overall will show you guys are in a bona fide relationship.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Well i have added pictures of me and her at her graduation recently and also pics from her last trip last week showing that we are still all 100% GO GO GO.

Its crazy really why the hell would you go through all this if you did not love the person is beyond me.

Green card or no green card for me the stress of all this would be enough to give up at the first hurdle!

Well honestly the process is easier for someone committing immigration fraud.. They don't care about the time away from the other person or the hiccups .. its just to get someone here.. we are the ones that are hurt by the process.

Pictures are great evidence, as long as you also have other kinds of proof. Like e-mails, letters, tickets, credit card receipts, stuff that shows that you have been in a relationship, you know? IMO, pictures alone don't show proof of an ongoing relationship, but they show that you've met.

Try and read other threads about evidence of relationship for valuable tips. :)

How about $40K - $50K USD for a motivation?

As Vartan said, the criminals don't have to live through the pain and suffer of being apart like us. They just fill out the paperworks, do the minimums to get their "client" here. I don't know how London goes, but HCMC is a mad house when it comes to K-1 Visa. Yup, $50K USD would be a very good motivation for the criminals to go for this process.

Drelewis and AndyMisiu

I think it would be beneficial for your honey to understand the process, so they will be better prepared for the interview. Once you understand the process and get involved a lot more than just "ok, i'll get you want you need". It is to me important that both parties understand why they are doing this/that, so when they are being drilled by the C.O. they will have better understanding and correct answers. It is too big of a risk just to wink it. More fun to be stressed together and shared the joy of success when it comes. IMO.

Good luck!
