Moulana Abbas from Pakistan gave a short lecture over the weekend in

Lenasia extension ten,he said that Hazrath Gibrael (A.S.) once came to our

beloved Prophet (S.A.W) and told him that Allah (S.W.T.) has given him

(Hazrath Gibrael A.S) the knowledge and strength to count every leaf on

the trees on earth, every fish in the sea, every star in the sky and every

particle of sand in the entire universe, but there is only one thing that

he cannot count so our beloved Prophet ( S.A.W.) asked Hazrath Gibrael

(A.S) what it was that he could not count, and Hazrath Gibrael (A.S.)

replied : When one of your ummah recite Durood (Salawaath) or send salaam

to you, the blessings that Allah (S.W.T.) showers upon such a person

becomes impossible for me to count.

My dearest brothers & sisters, please do not let a single hour of your life

go by without reciting Durood or sending salaam to our beloved Nabi

Muhammad Must( S.A.W.) , bearing in mind that if Durood is recited slowly,

it takes only five seconds here once again we are shown how blessed are

the Ummah of our beloved Nabi Muhammad Musthupha (S.A.W.)

Kindly forward to everyone you know. May Allah ( S.W.T.) reward you

abundantly

Jazakallah Khair.

Man is a wonderful creature; he sees through the layers of fat (eyes), hears through a bone (ears) and speaks through a lump of flesh (tongue).

Hazrat Ali (a.s)

Hey Fellow K-3'ers (and K-1's) from Pakistan!

Naseer and I had our AOS interview in Denver today. 15 minutes total, and a super nice guy. Just asked how we met, if we had kids, and our address. Did not look at anything we brought.

The Hubby is approved pending the FBI name check of course. But reading other threads, its because our interview date was so fast, the FBI needs time to complete the search. No big deal - this will be a much better wait than the VISA A/R. I finally get to put all this stuff away - for the next 2 years :hehe:

Good luck to those who are still pending VISA's - trust me, it will all be a blur once your SO hits US soil.
