not entrirely true there....my wife still has her father's name on the passport.....and she didnt had any problems....

well ok here is the thing. here is my situation. i didnt change my wife's last name to my name. So she still has her old last name, plus she has no passport to begin with.

Now there was someone on this thread, i believe sham, or shan, that sent his wife's current passport bio copy to nvc and they returned it saying that he needs to send passport that reflect marriage. I am assuming that means either

A) her last name is the one she had before marriage

or B. her father's name is still on the passport.

i emailed both the consulate in pakistan and consulate in chicago, and they have no clue what i am talking about. maybe i am not able to explain the story correctly.

HI VJ PEEPS!

I NEED SOME ADVICE ABOUT MY HUSBAND, RAVED, WHO IS LIVING IN PAKISTAN. HE HAS BEEN UNDER ALOT OF STRESS LATELY AND I AM NOT QUITE SURE HOW I CAN HELP HIM. HE NEEDS TO GO TAKE HIS MEDICAL EXAM, BUT WE ARE SCARED THAT HE MIGHT NOT PASS. DOES ANYONE KNOW A GOOD TRICK FOR GETTING ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM FAST?

THANK YOU EVERYONE, I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP. :D
