Wow - the nuts have come out in full force this week, haven't they.

RIP to the victims.

It is strange though. But is this an office shooting? I often wonder lately how we are not seeing as many of these now that so many people have been laid off from work compared to when these lay-off shootings were much more common (in the media) when the economy was much better off.

I am not saying this latest example is a lay-off shooting... but the signs kind of point to it being one.

There's been a lot of these sorts of things in the news over the past year. It's certainly worrying.

Terrorism is not Islamic.

Is too. Just like illegal immigration is Catholic.

You mean, like pedophila is Catholic.

That too.

But even illegal immigration. Most illegals come from Catholic countries like Mexico. What is it about Catholicism that makes them so unwilling to stand in line like the rest of us?

Of course, this also means that falsification of documents is a very Hindu thing. One could argue the theological causes for this proclivity, but then one would have to be really bored to do so.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

This man is not a terrorist although he used terror in his attack. He is, according to the most recent news report, a disgruntled ex-employee of the company where he opened fire. This is tragedy, not terrorism.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Would you say that they are making a comeback?? I do remember a few years ago they were really fashionable.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Jason Rodriguez, 40 is the shooter, was canned two years ago by his engineering firm, was an entry level engineer that worked for a year, but his boss said he wasn't up to their standards. Claims this firm ruined his life and wanted revenge. From some of the engineers I ran across, he was lucky to work there a year, it's a dog eat dog area, and if you and your team don't perform, you all will be out on the street.

Just wonder if this guy thought because he got a degree, he didn't have to do anything, also met those type.

Yeah, but what about his immigration status?

It may make employers thing twice about canning or laying off someone. Made me think for the people I had to can, but would sit down and show them the thousands of dollars we paid that person, and really didn't get anything in return by showing them all the work they didn't do. Said morally, you should return your paychecks to us, but according to law, you don't have to do that.
