Hi,

I did not get a copy of my medical. I gave the brown envelop to the officer on the POE and all that I have left is one X-ray from the surgeon from Spain. I have a vaccinations record from my country, too. Does that mean that I must pay the 300$? I just want to have more information before I have to go to the surgeon here and be ready in case that they try to make me pay more.

Ideally what should happen is you don't need another exam if it is less than one year old, you must just have a civil surgeon sign off on your vaccinations.

problem 1. USCIS is notorious for losing the physical exam, don't be surprised if you get an RFE for it

problem 2. Some civil surgeons will try to make more money by telling you you must have the entire exam again and not just the vaccination record. Unless you receive and RFE for the exam or you know it is more than one year old don't do this, all you need is the vaccination record.

i DONT KNOW , you might not get a ref for a medical . I filled for AOS , my interview is November 23rd , got a ref for other eveidence not medical . you don,t need any medical test since you applied for AOS before one year of your medical test , you need to update you vaccination report , send it to DR Arnold in Texas , they charge 30 $ now . I did so because they might ask for it at the interview . but you better do it too and send it with AOS or if you already sent the papers be ready if they send you a ref or even for the interview BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE YOU VACCINES UPDATED BY A CIVIL SURGEN AS A K VISA HOLDER

I have a vaccinations record from my country, too.

Bring it to a Civil Surgeon, and they should fill out an I-693 (Vaccination section only) for you. You DO NOT need a full exam if yours was less than 1 year ago. You should pay no more than $50 to have the vaccination worksheet transcribed onto the I-693 section 2.5.

My fiancée received a vaccination record from Pasteur organization in Iran and had one vaccine administered in turkey for the medical exam. Is this record from Iran accepted?
