hi just wondering.. is the signature taken in biometrics, is the signature that will appear in EAD card and in the Greencard? My story is like this, the lady taking my biometrics told me to just write in my whole married name since i didnt show them any valid id with my married signature.. which i dont have any but my passport with my maiden name and signature on it. So what i did is just wrote my full married name.. im just worried coz the signature i used in all of my application in AOS is my married signature.. it might not match! :( im so paranoid again!

When you filed the I-485 did you list yourself with your new full married name? If you did the NOA#1 and the Biometric appointment letter came to you under your new name! That's the name you sign at the Biometric's appointment - your name as it is on the AOS NOA#1.

no problem with that. i assume that when you say full married name that it's the longer one with your maiden name as middle name, vs the married name with just your first name and husband's last name?

if this is the case, no worry. :)

Yes.. actually when i filled out my AOS applications i used Maiden name as my middle name and my husband's as the last.. And when i got my AOS NOA1 it says there my full name using my last name as middle name! I understand (after i talked to the officer in biometrics, when she get me so nervous telling that in the interview they might not allow me to use my maiden name as my middle name not unless i have the court proceedings to retain it, she even advised me to just hypen my husband's last name  which when i asked my hubby.. he doesnt want the idea ) that it's not legal in US to use the maiden name as middle name. But on my side, its a false mistake.. i know nothing about it since in our culture (Philippines) once you get married you wil use your maiden name as your middle name. I got no problem with that if they say it's illegal.. they can dropped my middle name and just use my first name and husband's last name. And i explained to her that when i applied for my SSN after i get married they allow me to use my maiden name as middle name.. But i guess, if they will approved my applications and dropped my middle name i need to go to the SSN Office to have them change my name without middle name on it. So i just hope everything will be fine.. i can just explain it to the interviewer. Im just worried that in my EAD/Green cards, it might show the signature i had in biometrics! Coz i typically just wrote it as it is!

Thanks for all the replies
