I was not sure if purchasing the PIN number only allowed for a certain number of minutes or only good for one call or what. I just did not know what to expect.

I've used it so far 4 times already.. you have to use visa or mastercard credit card to obtain pin number.. but it sure works.. :)

Best way to schedule a Interview.

I tried to schedule without it, and it was almost impossible to get thru to USEM

I purchased the PIN and first ring they picked up, and then I scheduled.

It is good for 3 calls only, and will become useless after 3 months if not used .

that is the official version, but I bought mine in Feb, interview in march, went into AR/AP until July and I used that pin at least 3 times a week for those 3 months to bug the ####### out of them.

Sorry but I don't get it.. I can get the pin calling US embassy where my petitioner will have her interview? am i right?

I don't think your "petitioner" will have an interview at the embassy

If you are in the US and are the petitioner then yes,

but for calls from the Philippines, it is a different number and it is by the min.

But one of you must pay to set the K1 appointment.

How do you get the PIN to begin with? Do you call the embassy? I've been looking for instructions on obtaining a PIN on the embassy website and haven't had any luck.
