No kidding. We recently had some bull ####### cultural sensitivity awareness thing at work. I failed it.

Now I have to sit with HR for some sort of bull ####### training.

why/how did you fail?

Timeline:

Sent in I-130 form: 01/29/09

Interview Date: 11/08/09 (APPROVED!)

Visa in Hand: 11/12/09

POE: 01/30/10 (!!!!) at JFK Airport in NYC... can't wait!

Got the green card maybe 8 weeks after 01/30/10...

It was an online test that asked random questions. I scored 9 out of 25. :dance:

I did realize that I was prejudiced, I stereotype and I generalize against others.

If a stereotype is wrong, then lets stop using it. However, how can anyone expect me to ignore the reality. Ignore that while Hispanics make up 12% of the US population, they also account for almost the majority of the FBI's most wanted list in my sig.

Wow, BY. You work for someone else? A company with an HR department, no less? I figured you owned your own island and ran the whole show. First, I learn that you're not a bootstrap millionaire, and now this?

March 7, 2005: I-129F NOA1

September 20, 2005: K-1 Interview in London. Visa received shortly thereafter.

AOS

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008
